Usually like that at Adelaide oval, hot as flower also during the test.

The problem with the WACA though is there is there is flower all shade unlike the Adelaide oval. After a full days cricket, beers and sun-stroke the next day reminds me of past New years hangovers from way back after 2 day benders :-X

Yep, even the more so shadded spots in the stands, your still getting at least a half a days worth of sun which is 3-4 hours worth which can hurt if your not  necking back water and sun screening up!

Every single time we get told the WACA is hard, flat and great for batsmen batting first

Let's take a look at some recent WACA tests shall we?
2015: No test vs India
2014: Australia 385 (103 overs) (England)
2013: South Africa 225 (74 overs)
2012: India 161 (60 overs)
2011: Australia 268 (68 overs) (India)
2010: Australia 520 (130 overs) (West Indies)
2009: Australia 375 (99 overs) (South Africa)
2008: India 330 (98 overs)

Let's see what comparison this has with Adelaide Oval:
2015: Australia 517 (120 overs) (India)
2014: Australia 570 (158 overs) (England)
2013: Australia 550 (107 overs) (South Africa)
2012: Australia 604 (157 overs) (India)
2011: Australia 245 (86 overs) (England)
2010: West Indies 451 (124 overs)
2009: New Zealand 270 (98 overs)
2008: India 526 (152 overs)

Now you tell me which one produces better first innings scores.

So yet again this deck is being talk up as a batter paradise. Assuming that Southee doesn't run off the ground with injury again, I will be surprised if Australia bat to lunch on Day 2, as it seems that the norm is to be rolled at some point late on the first day. New Zealand are still a very good cricket side, and their bowlers have no excuse not to perform, they have 5 of them.
