noise of something, went to Smith at slip, ump gave it, presumably caught, but there was no bat. would've been close to LBW anyway, but still looks a bad decision (haven't seen an LBW replay of it)

To add further to discussion there were 2 noises heard by the umpire and he assumed one was nick on the edge whereas the noises were front pad to rear pad. Do not think with ball hitting front pad first and the way shot was played LBW would have been given.

A good win, bit easier than I expected. Thought it would be a good contest. Kiwi's haven't had a good preparation with the Bankstown game etc but they'll be alot better after this run i reckon.
