What kind of declaration score you thinking we will look at? Somewhere around 550?

yeah 550-600 I reckon. if say Mitch Marsh can come in and smash a quick 50 we might be able to declare a bit earlier

Seems to be a good batting pitch. May of make most of it early, especially whilst scoring over 4 an over. 600 would be the max, any more would be overkill id say.

Voges is a gun. Has so much talent shame he wasn't 10 years younger he'd have played heaps more cricket for Australia.

Voges is the man! Wish him and Klinger were both 10 years younger. Australia would be formidable!

JBs-Hawks

I dont. He failed in England when we needed him.

Who was in charge of all the junior camps 20 years ago as all these guys were growing up? Possibly the best era in terms of quality best XI but then also quality depth ever.

Id be more inclined to blame Clarke than Voges.... Cant rely on a guy who had played 2 test matches before the ashes....

We picked him because he was experienced and had played a shower load of cricket. He turned out being just as flawed as the young guys, which was pretty disappointing.

Not sure why he's in our side this series to be honest. Get Bancroft in there.

Yeah and played a lot of cricket over there. But at the time there was nothing better/ proven to select. I suppose hes in the side this series as we already lost clarke and rogers now, and a third change would be too much i think! I reckon theyd want to get Burns and Khawja settled and scoring runs before looking at introducing bancroft in there. By then voges should be cooked at 37 id say.

But yeah i also wanted bancroft to get a gig opening the batting this series too. Perfect fit to replace Rogers i thought.

Usman has passed Davey's score now. Let him get the double ton!

The plan must be to make a huge score, bowl them out and make them follow on, we're looking at 600.

Ringo

Would say we will see a declaration within the next 30 minutes,

Nige

Yep, that's happening by the looks of it.

Seems they've been given the cue to pile on as many runs as they can in the next half hour. Voges ton and Uzzie double ton though please!

Bill Manspeaker

well batted Ussie 8)

rrckon ya cost Voges a ton though :P
