Sucks to see Mitch Johnson go, one of my favorite cricketers. He hasn't had the best series, but that is in part due to the pitches being shower.

congrats Mitchy, ended up as Australia's 4th leading wicket taker. no mean feat, there are some great players on that list. still reckon you had one more in ya! first ever D/N test, what are ya thinking man!

I've like, always made fun on Mitch Johnson for being an erratic bowler. Took a while for me to notice exactly how many wickets and how long he has actually played for. Certainly has done a great job, and had to battle through LOTS of scrutiny from fans and media.

To be Australia's 4th leading wicket taker is pretty exceptional. Only Warne, McGrath, Lillee have more wickets.

"Pretty good chance I'll be batting 3 in Adelaide" - Steve Smith

I think this hints at NOT Cameron Bancroft or Ed Cowan. Could be Klinger, Maxwell, Shaun Marsh though.

Jukes, elephants. No more. Comment about the cricket, if you're not following the cricket, don't comment at all. Take it to PMs.
Consider this a friendly warning.

Has copped a lot of shower (nearly all of it unfair) over his career, but 313 wickets at an average of 28 is absolutely elite no matter how you look at it. And who could forget possibly the best summer of fast bowling in cricket history..

Certainly a fantastic career, and I think we might struggle without him more than people think..

Starc looks to be doing okay, they are pretty similar bowlers. This SHOULD get Pattinson into the side and he'll keep the in your face I'm going to knock you out before I get you out attitude :P (I may or may not be pulling sour grapes as to how Australian bowlers play their cricket)

Why'd you turn my statement wrong? :(

Johnno has slipped, but he's been the #1 dude pretty much since the Warne/McGrath era ended - his impact has been very underrated. If Starc is our best now, we're in some serious trouble :-\

Unless you were talking about the 8/61 he took at the WACA which was coupled with Steyn, Morkel, Ntini, Kallis at the other end in that series, yes I disagree with you.

Starc is getting better, give him time, he's only 25.

I'm talking about 37 wickets in an urn regaining whitewash where he dominated an entire batting lineup for 5 straight matches.

Understandable you can't really remember that series though ;)
