Uh oh, I have some bad news. I suppose you'll all be disappointed but R.Griffen possibly the most and Torp the least.

One line in my spreadsheet wasn't calculating scores from the correct line. The 2nd innings wickets column hasn't been handing out points for wickets, it's been one line off.

I found it as I was filling in today's games and was wondering how Boland had under 100 points despite taking 7 second innings wickets.

Still unsure why I'm disappointed the least.

I've gone back and fixed the last 3 rounds as the error has been occuring from the start of the season.

Only one result has changed because of the mistake. WA actually beat TAS in Round 1.

Round 4 Results

T Devils vs V Possums
Late change TAS: Ben Hilfenhaus OUT, replaced by Jason Floros
Late change VIC: Billy Stanlake OUT, replaced by Gurinder Sandhu

TAS: 327 (5 players)
defeated by
VIC: 768 (6)

TAS: Floros 152, Bird 144, Worrall 170 [not named], Cutting -22 [c]
VIC: Stoinis 257, Mennie 234 [c], Handscomb 201, Webster 135 [not named], Tremain 123 [not named]

The Possums get their thrid win for the season, meanwhile the Devils are struggling, sitting 0-4. A big T20 tournament will be needed from them.

NSW Platypuses vs SA Wombats
Late change NSW: Adam Zampa OUT, replaced by Doug Bollinger

NSW: 891 (6)
defeated
SA: 693 (5)

NSW: Ferguson 284, Lehmann 249 [not named], Bollinger 174, Agar 122 [c], Moody 88 [not named]
SA: Sayers 213, Cowan 256 [c], Bailey 189, Beaton 16 [not named]

NSW stay undefeated at the top of the table, certainly looking very very good at this stage. SA drop to 1-3 but have had some good showings. Missing Marsh and Siddle to the national side, then having White and Hastings sit out has hurt them.

WA Swans vs NT Kangaroos
Late change NT: Jason Behrendorff OUT, replaced by Rob Quiney

WA: 473 (5)
defeated by
NT: 533 (6)

WA: Maddinson 177, Dunk 165, Labuschagne -27
NT: Finch 326 [c], Quiney 86, Ahmed 66 [not named], Maxwell 8

The late change gets NT over the line! Torp will be annoyed at Labuschagne, who scored 3 and a duck. Both teams now sit 2-2 after 4, a lack of player depth hurting the Swans, they've been lucky Dunk and Maddinson show up every week.

Q Koalas vs ACT Cockatoos
Late change QLD: Peter George OUT, replaced by Joel Paris
Late change ACT: Nathan Rimmington OUT, replaced by Scott Boland

QLD: 373 (6)
defeated by
ACT: 703 (5)

QLD: Paris 157, Steketee 107, Head -28 [c], Cosgrove 87 [not named]
ACT: Boland 202, Ross 182, Hopes 192 [c], Rainbird 123, Fekete 104 [not named]

One that I thought would've been closer. Both late changes scored superbly, but the ACT players had more firepower in the end, despite being a player short. The Koalas might be wanting to rethink their skipper, a poor score by Travis Head.

The Ladder

Round 5 will be the last chance for teams to change their position before the starting HGA points for the T20 trophy can be finalised. NSW must be enjoying themselves at the top, TAS not so much.

Rd 5 [6th December]
Northern Territory vs Tasmania
New South Wales vs Western Australia
Victoria vs ACT
South Australia vs Queensland

Also reminder the T20 Auction begins on the 2nd December. The thread is up do read it carefully :)

Interestingly the top 4 are playing each other.

Need WA to knock off NSW and and we need to beat ACT.

Selection will be crucial.

Round 5 Results

NT Kangaroos vs T Devils
Late change TAS: Moises Henriques OUT, replaced by Jason Floros

NT: 306 (6)
defeated by
TAS: 519 (3)

NT: Maxwell 120, Finch -32 [c], Feldman 120 [not named], Mackin 93 [not named]
TAS: Bird 222 [c], Floros 205, Cooper 92, Worrall 233 [not named]

Upset of the tournament surely!? How the... I'm still dumbfounded looking at this score. And to think that it could've been a lot worse for NT with Worrall not being named. Boy oh boy wowee Tassie of the mark though and about time for them as well, they will need a big last couple of weeks post T20.

NSW Platypuses vs WA Swans

NSW: 605 (6)
defeated
WA: 343 (4)

NSW: Agar 352 [c], O'Keefe 141, Renshaw 236 [not named]
WA: Ludeman 140 [c], Maddinson 103, Dunk 111

A good win for NSW, another game where WA would've liked a full squad to choose from.

V Possums vs ACT Cockatoos
Late change ACT: Andrew Tye OUT, replaced by Xavier Doherty

VIC: 618 (6)
defeated
ACT: 422 (6)

VIC: Mennie 416 [c], Klinger 126, Tremain 172 [not named]
ACT: Fekete 156, Triffit 99

The Possums claim this one and jump to 2nd! Caretaker coach PowerBug stuffed up a chance to prove his superiority. Jayman will be furious with the result. couldn't have named a better Cockatoos side it just show that sometimes a shower team is shower regardless of who's in charge :P Also the only game this round where both teams had 6 players.

SA Wombats vs Q Koalas
Late change SA: Alex Doolan OUT, replaced by George Bailey
Late change Q: Mark Steketee OUT, replaced by Joel Paris

SA: 432 (5)
defeated by
QLD: 446 (5)

SA: Hastings 133, Sayers 120, Cowan 122 [c]
QLD: Paris 239, Whiteman 104, Head 108 [c], Rohrer 117 [not named], Faulkner 98 [not named]

The Koalas get the win thanks to the late change. Both teams a man short, and despite Bosisto (-24) trying his best to lose it for QLD, they just sneak home and go to 2-3. As for SA, it's 1-4 and only % keeps them above 8th.

NSW stay clear. Q Koalas jump into 4th, it's tight from 4-8 though. Only 2 rounds left to change up positions to get into the finals! But for now it's time to turn our attention to the short form of the game, it's T20 time!!
