Bones Bombers

Luey is definitely a real chance to be in my team depending on price.

Also what about Currie for R3? Should be just what we need, provided he does get to the Suns.

Currie is a lock at R3 if he moves. Would even consider him at R2 if he somehow became number 1 ruckman

To have all 3 rucks actually playing would be such a stress relief!

Currie would still be behind Nicholls

Has Smith even left yet?  :P

yep Geelong absolutely fleeced the Suns in the deal imo.

As for Berger: still getting over my TBC buyer's remorse, but I imagine It'll be hard to keep him out.  Talented as any ruck, just body concerns and the risk that he's dropped off in the last 2 years.

He's still a great ruckman, just can't play anywhere else. If you play him as your #1 ruck, he'll kill it (providing he stays fit)

doesnt look a terrible option.

but screw you mid priced ruckman, especially mid priced essendon ruckman.

my season got destroyed the moment essendon didnt get suspended and i dropped NN and Shaw for hibberd and bellspud.

not going near that rabble, unless they are sub 150k.
Love it Holz.   As an Essendon supporter even I could not find space for anybody other than Heppell last year.  And god help those that fell for TBC.

On the other hand if Luey looks like getting plenty of time on ball then he might tempt me if I can find a decent R/F option for cover.        Jeez boys slap me !!!!!   That is the sort of thinking that got people TBC last year.  :)

Johnny W. will turn some of those Bomber boys around i.e. "my way or the highway, lads."  AND don't let Jobe Watson get under your guard, he's seething with revenge!

Who would you say will be the other half of the duo...Bellchambers or McKernan? Actually, McKernan showed a bit toward the end of last season, I think he could be an improver - not in a supercoach sense - but in the way he goes about it.

Chances of Luey and Belly both staying fit for the whole season? 0%

McKernan will get games.

He deserves to start ahead of Bellchambers based on his form this year. Could even go with Luey in the ruck, Joe, Belly and McKernan up forward some weeks since Joe and McKernan have above average athleticism for big guys. It'd be more likely that you have 3 on the field and one on the bench at all times during matches.
Agree would rather see Luey and Mckernan than TBC.  Leuy no1 with Mckernan playing upforward.

TBC all over again.
At least this year people should trade him out a bit quicker than they did with TBC last year.    LY people were caught with injurie trades almost every week and ended up keeping him longer than was respectable.    Saying that I didnt have TBC last year and will be 50/50 on Luey being in my team this year.     Will be in if I need cash to fill other lines.    Or strategy has me upgrading him to a goldy or mummy after round 6/7.

TBC was never good though. Leuy has proven he scores well when he is the #1 ruck
