wasnt going to start him for this reason, not when you have Pendles cheaper and i reckon almost if not just as good and i still cant fit him in.

dont think going Ablett Rocky Sloane instead will be an issue especially given i have goldy as a captain option instead. If he comes out and kills it i have stepping stones in Libba and Crouch if need be.

Pendles 129 125 127 124 116 missed 1 game in 3 years.
Fyfe 107 122 124 missed 11 games in 3 years.

guys injury, suspension prone. I cant afford to pay that much for him.
Agree 100%, haven't considered starting him for even a second. Way too much value elsewhere on offer.

Definitely considered starting him, you can make the argument he is well unders, considering he played a lot of the second half of the year injured or under duress. But this new injury makes him too risky I think. Still could average over 130 tho.

SydneyRox

Doesnt look like he is going to start the season @ 100% so i won't be starting him

Goosey

Won't be starting Fyfe, even if he hadn't hurt his back, with his broken leg and other niggles I was prepared to wait and see.

It's almost inevitable he'll miss games...

So compare Fyfe v Priddis - last year fyfe scored 2237 points, priddis scored 2492 points total.

So if fyfe misses 4 games, but a rookie is subbed in for those 4 games and scores 60ppg = 240, which is roughly the gap between priddis total score vs fifes total score for 2015

It basically balances out except you're saving yourself 60k..what are peoples thoughts on this?

AaronKirk

Will Priddis miss 3-4 games?

It is an argument not worth looking at before round 1. The "what ifs" just have to be dealt with when it comes to reality.

Fyfe is clearly Freo's best midfielder. He is the best player in the competition. He has had a very encouraging NAB challenge in 2nd gear and will go bang IMO from round 1. Lock him in.

JBs-Hawks

And if Fyfe misses late in the year then your m9 will be scoring more then 60.

Pokerface

not to mention the amount of those points that were doubled as captain last year..

Why is he going to miss games ? do you think he will be suspended , injured or just rested I could say the same thing about Ablett but it would be just a wild guess

BomberSam

Yes, if he plays 18+ games, he is worth it.
