Sorry Eaglesman, but you are incorrect

Barlow would make any 22 in the league, and he is in no way finished.. you're dismissing him already and he's only 28 years old?

He may have looked slow but so does Pendlebury & Mitchell & Watson etc and they've all had very successful careers

Dane Swan and Nat Fyfe are the perfect two players to tell you that you can have poor kicking and still be considered a gun

Terrible call man, you are very very wrong

We will see then ... I have screenshot saved.

i think i will be proven right once games are played.

You tell me what player we would drop from west coast to fit in a slow hack kicker? Think about the dynamics of the time where you need a mix of clearance beasts and outside pace and skill. I am not giving him a game over young gun Duggan and there are plenty(8) ahead of that young fella.

Well he's currently better than Masten, Sheed, Hutchings. Heck even Mcginnity gets games for WCE

As for his DE... he went at 68% this year, that's about normal/better than a lot of other mids.

Bennell 67%
Wallis 69%
Coniglio 69%
SHill 69%
JPK 64%
Priddis 70%
Hanley 70%
MMurphy 66%
Parker 68%
Dangerfield 67%
Steven 67%
Dahlhaus 67%

And Clangers? He averaged 1.9 a game

Priddis 3.1
Shuey 2.8
Gaff 2.2
Sheed 2.2

Hey hey hey. thats a low blow Rico. Mcginiity only gets games when 10 blokes are injured!

But agree with you, barlow is good enough for every sides 22. Would take before masten.

haha sorry. Every team has a "Mcginiity" :P

eaglesman

I can't stand masten but in terms of team dynamics he is ahead of Barlow lads come on.... Hutch will play as a tagging or loose tag type n sheed is a vastly better kick n decision maker given his lack of pace

Mcginnity won't play 3 games this year unless we are hammered by injury

eaglesman

Lads just my opinion ... Let's just wait and see ... Slow bad kickers are a dying breed in this day and age - and Barlow was poor last year - can't see him turning it round

Hutchings wont play unless injuries. Mcginiity wont play unless 8-10 injuries,... Meh... masten disappears against good sides ahaha. rather barlow cos he at least wins more hard balls haha.

Fyfe will be in my side.

And he will The Brownlow again.

They ain't going to be playing their star as key position forward.

Barlow is finished btw. I'm expecting a rubbish year from the former rookie priced fantasy stud.
Don't discard him too quickly, from what I've heard his role will change to something a bit more fantasy friendly again

Role may change but the player I watched looked slow combined with his poor kicking and I have absolutely no faith in him. Would need to show up big in preseason for me to consider him.
Lucky he plays for the dockers as I couldn't see him getting guaranteed games at most other top 8 clubs imo. Would not have a hope in hell in getting a game at west coast/hawthorn

Apparently he came back from the break in pretty good nick and has admitted to being very disappointed in his own form despite the role change.
Reminds me of Sauce jacobs when asked about his 2014 season...he bounced back pretty well, if you have the talent.

P.S don't think anyone was claiming Fyfe would play 100% KPF when talking about him spending more time forward more speculating how much more time he would spend roaming CHF.

Nat Fyfe: Suffering serious back injury. Ruptured disc during general training drill.

Well, it didn't take long for next year's first serious casualty to present itself.  I was going to say we may see him in time for
the finals...but...maybe not.  Won't they now need an experienced midfielder to fill the hole left by Fyfe?  Perhaps Barlow's much talked about foray up forward may have to be put on hold for now.

Yeh a serious one this one, he's in a lot of teams already. Hope he's the only major casualty but ya can't help but feel there will be more before rnd 1.

Money Shot

So Fyfe won't be back for round 1?
