Awesome. I'd just downgrade Smith or Yeo Upgrade KK to McVeigh/Shaw And Lobbe to better ruck. Tried to get all 3 mid pricers in O/maera Libba and Crouch myself... but couldn't quite fit them.

TEAM NAME: Schillaci
DEF: H. Shaw, A. Rance,  J. Bartel, E. Yeo, J. Wagner, M. Brown (M. Adams, M. Hibberd)
MID: S. Pendlebury, G. Ablett jnr,  T. Rockliff, O. Wines, T. Liberatore, B. Crouch, J. Gresham, D. Gore (J. Polkinghorne, J. Dunkley, A. Marcon)
RUC: T. Goldstein, N. Natanui (M. King)
FWD: D. Martin, S. Higgins, M. Barlow , D. Wells, , J. Simpkin, S. Kerridge  (C. Petracca, M. Brown)
CASH LEFT: $55,400

Made some changes...will probably not run with Hopper, Mills and other expensive rookies unless they look like earning serious coin like Cripps last year...so saved some funds there and have taken JOM out again though he could come back in. Beams is out but might bring him back as well...same for Lids.

Shaw is back in...think I will run with either Lids at F1 or Shaw at D1...they are proven, will be top 6 in their position and providing they stay on the park it'll give me a leg up as everyone else will be looking at bringing them in.
Rance had a great 2015 and he is a bonafide SC star...Champion data love him...intercept mark king and good user...think he will back up and have no fear that last year was a fluke...looks great value and another top 6 pick IMO.
Bartel screams value. Age is the worry but locked in.
Yeo is a speculative pick...should play midfield/ wing and see plenty of the pill and score well for a defender. Didn't score too well in NAB 1 but hard to get a line on that as lacked usual support.
Pendles, GAJ, Rockliff, Libba and Crouch pick themselves.
Ollie should be right to go...groin injury this week...we'll see about that but screams value and think he'll be a solid M7/8 at year's end. hoping for a 110-115 year.
Goldy/Nic Nat set and forget.
Dusty is the no1 forward to have. Barlow probably the no2 to have. Wells and Simpkin value picks who shape as must haves. Some chance  I'll start Petracca even if not named R1 if other R1 rookie fwds look risky...which brings me to Higgins...yes I read he's just been under the knife but that's a good thing and he'll be better for it. Has played 41 games over the last two seasons. 10 scores over 100 last year , including three over 130, 15 games over 90 pts in 2015. Looks a nice pick.

Good balance across the board NZ.
I struggle with KPP defender selections (and KPP forwards for that matter).   Would like to see a def/mid running player.
Love the mids and hope Gore gets a start rd 1 for you.
Rucks are the second best combo.
Higgins is a great POD choice, good chance to go on from last season.   Scoring mid/fwd player.
Petracca will be interesting for most of us come RD1.    Start him and hope or look for downgrade to him by rd 5.
Good team mate.

Good team mate.
I know I am going against the FF trend but I don't like Simmo or Birch see them as 85 types and reckon Rance will do better.
Second best combo rucks ay mate...I'll happily play them against the best. I like Martin and Mummy but Nic Nat will do me.

That my friend is a great team. How the F#$K did u get Heater,Goldy without compromising almost anything?

I can't start more than 1 of Lids/Heater/Goldy as my team always looks better and balanced with only 1 of them.

Anyway I'd just spend less on the backs as I've told many others. And use the cash to get Fyfe as is my advice also if they don't have him.

Also Simpkin > rookie could strengthen Mids? Not sure why so popular -  as a Bombers man I'd rather a rookie for half the price.

Thanks mate. I'm a fan of spending less on backs and usually do and stack the mids. Currently I'm running contrary to that approach but I could get cold feet...am keeping an eye on Beams so might depend on his status R1.
Simpkin can get a lot of possessions and has a good average unsubbed if what I've read is correct. I haven't researched him properly as yet but on the face of that it makes him worth the price given he will play in a depleted Bomber's team.

This may temper your thoughts on Beams a little.  Will not play in the NAB but looking to Rd 1.

Yeah I am a Beams fan and one lesson I have learnt in SC is Interuppted preseason means unreliable performance.  So no Beams for me.   Happy with a Parker or Hannebury replacement.

Merrett + Wells > Rookie and better fwd. AND/OR Get Fyfe. Will Weitering play every week? If so I'm on him too.

Rance/Bartel > Smith/Hurn/similar priced player is another option.

Best one yet.

That's okay then... Those 4 bomber defenders will see a bit of the sherrin then if it's down there all the time. 8)
