I'm not well informed at all but is it possible the Herald Sun were the ones to release the article this week? Could Chick have told them months earlier?

Yeah I'm starting to think thats possible too, whoever approved the story should get sacked.

Yep that is exactly what happened. The AFL is pro-Victorian and while they were having a break from thinking about how to screw the northern states, they released this article to put the Eagles off their game. Spot on.
