How do you do a "Place Bet" on the brownlow on Sportsbet? Do you select the "Each Way" tab??

I don't use Sportsbet, but that would be right

Each Way = Win or Place, which is essentially Top 3 finish and what you're after

Actually, afaik each way means half of your bet goes on for the win, and the other half goes for a place - maybe wait for someone else to answer lol

have people got him on about 25 votes now?

Selwood 22
Danger 21
Parker 21
Who did you give 2 votes to last night? I noticed Hill a lot more than Selwood, so wouldn't be surprised if he got the 2.

Danger 3 Selwood 2 Hill 1

Same way I scored it.  Geelong win, and the Selwood name tips it.

Danger 24
Selwood 23
Sloane 23
Parker 22

No love for Boris last night? Danger 3, then he, Selwood and Hill fighting for the last votes IMO

The mids bump the defenders down in brownlow votes. You always have to have a little bit more bias towards the mids when giving votes.

What AK said.  I think after doing this for a few years you pick up how the umps vote.  Mids and name players poll votes.  Voss and Black won me a tonne of coin back in the day.

Also in regards to the placing bet, I think the actual option to select placing will open up after the rounds finished, hence why it's only letting you E/W it.

Just checking Crownbet's brownlow market the top 7 in the market are the top 7 (not in order) on my predictions

They are in order below: the number in brackets next to the odds are my current votes I have the player on. An asterisk indicates the player still has a game to play this round

Dangerfield $1.90 (21)
Dusty $6 (18)
Sloane $9 (22)
Hannebery $11 (17)
Parker $13 (22)
Selwood $13 (22)
Bontempelli $17 (18)
S.Mitchell $17 (14)
Steven $26 (14) *
Ward $34 (13) *
Shuey $34 (11)*
Priddis $41 (14)*
JPK $41 (7)
R.Gray $41 (15)
Gawn $51 (16)*
Coniglio $51 ( 8 )*

Depending on tomorrow's performances tomorrow Gawn and Priddis would be decent overlays to have very small bets e/w bets on at decent odds. Steven also with a BOG tomorrow could be one to consider.

I think Sloane is massive odds. I think he should be favourite and I will be having a decent crack at him this week.

With the crows draw he will keep racking up votes and he is easily spotted by the umps.

Danger/Selwood will take votes off each other and so will the other Swans mids from Hanners and Parker.

Dusty for me is too short. To justify his current odds he will need to poll more than the 4 votes I project he will poll in the first 9 rounds when Richmond were not playing very well.

The Bont has no votes on my projections in the first 6 weeks of the season. If he can nab a vote or 2 in those weeks where the dogs were playing brilliantly at Etihad he could also be over the odds and worth a small bet.

Who got the 3 last night? Sloane?

Dunno?  Didn't get to watch that game and stats wise it looks really close.  AK?  Was close too and Treloar and Adams had great games.  Would be out of Sloane, Thompson, Crouch, Treloar, Adams for the votes I would think.

I watched the game and I couldn't confidently give a 3-2-1

Smith, Crouch, Sloane and their KPP defenders in Talia and Lever were good

Sinclair was really good for Collingwood, but not sure if he polls. Grundy, Pendles and Treloar probably the other best for the Pies

Lol, you didn't make it any easier! :P

RaisyDaisy

It was definitely one of those games where there wasn't a clear 3-2-1, so Sloane could get the 3 or he might not poll at all

I really liked Sinclair's game and he'd get the 1 or 2 votes from me. Crouch and Sloane probably get the other 2 votes

GoLions

I think Treloar definitely polls. Matt Crouch I think it was (don't know crows players that well :P) was also good. Sloane will probably poll too.

Thats a bit more helpful.  Any chance Thompson gets votes being a milestone game you think?  Or was he not even close?

My mistake, it was Lyons.

jvalles69

I'm thinking B. Crouch 3, Treloar 2, Sloane 1.  Seems like Crouch was big early to set thins up, Treloar looks like he dominated in a losing side, Sloane just did his thing with tackles, but nothing overly special.

AaronKirk

I gave Sloane 3, 2 to Grundy and 1 to B.Crouch but it is one of those games that it could go to anyone.
