Reports are that the players that were scheduled to go to Bangladesh will be playing for their states in the Matador Cup. So people with the national stars will be pleased, Torp might be able to field a team too ;)

Yep, the squads for the Matador Cup has been changed. Luckily a few lads have ended up in the CA XI which is handy.

I notice there's a couple of names in that CXI squad not available for pickup in our draft :( Ahhhh I'll have to make sure I look at that for next season.

For everyone else there's an article on the state squad changes on cricinfo, I won't link it to you but it is not very difficult to find. :)

Keen for this to start!! Can Monday hurry up?!

So JB has been at the AFL Grand Final, he might not come on FF as he's too busy partying/getting home from Melbourne. What I will do, unless there are any objections, if it looks like he won't be around for the start of Monday's matches to name a side, I will name one for him. I will also do this (just for Round 1) if there are other teams that don't get in on time.

The first 3 matches get underway at 10am AEDST tomorrow. Only CXI vs VIC is on the 7th October in Round 1.

Then Round 2 begins on the 8th.

Predictions for who take it out? I'm going to roll with:

Group 1:
ACT
NT
NSW
TAS

Group 2:
VIC
WA
QLD
SA

The ACT team is riddled with stars, and WA I reckon will surprise a few. Dunk is a gun and who remembers his 200 last season? Ludeman and Mitchell Starc also in that team. That's enough to carry them I reckon.

Marcus Harris plays for CXI so he gets two matches in Round 1, which would be why he's named him.
