Great pick! Could be anything and bank my cheque on him being more than the "Shut down defender" He was picked as. I mean, who picks a small shut down defender with a first round draft pick, when you have nine other small defenders? ???

I have no idea about him I just saw him there and am willing to trust that the Crows have made a good decision.

is there a time limit for picks........or is it different for the rookie draft?

Well, it's listed as a general draft rule that there is a 24 hour limit, so I'd assume it applies for both. Don't see why it would be any different.

That's correct we still have a time limit, so that would mean the Vipers have been skipped and can make their selection whenever SR is available to.

Yeah figured as much, just wasnt 100% sure.

But it's understandable if some people don't realise........there wasn't really advance warning of it opening up, just a pm to say it was open. In saying that SR was online last night, so it's really surprising he didnt take his pick then because he's a pretty switched on dude (and no not the other definition lol).

I think the draft is being kept moving, however the next pick is Memph so he has 24 hours :)

I have messaged both SR and Memph. I did only get around to messaging Memph a couple of hours ago though.

Going on the 24 hour rule, Memph has until 9am tomorrow to pick, before the Dolphins would be skipped.

There is, but I'd be willing to give Memph a little bit of leniency seeing as the draft has just started and it looks like no one had messaged him it was his pick until I did just before. There isn't a huge rush to get this done straight away either.
