From my understanding you can only delist guys who were delisted by their AFL club and not picked up in the Rookie Draft.

Yeah, I think this is right.

This is correct, only players that were de-listed by an AFL club and not picked up in one of the free agency periods or drafts (so they are not on an AFL list for the 2016 season) may be de-listed now.

So unfortunately you won't be able to cut those players Memph.

That de-listing of Golby will be fine as he is another player not on an AFL list for the 2016 season.
