Flabbergasted

Just curious as to why?

Shared my thoughts with HP on that in private

Fair enough
Just seeing if it was because you guys had made offers for or asked about those players or the pick and never heard back

Nah it wasn't that ............ was just making a general comment without going into detail.

Then HP queried it with me, so l was happy to elaborate privately.

Trade announcement:

Iceland and Belarus have been at the trade table.

Iceland give: H. Bennell + L. Picken + J. Grant + R38  FOR  A. Francis + B. Lennon + A. Fasolo + R4  from Belarus.

Belarus expanding its Mids post positional announcements. The loss of young Francis and Lennon can be covered in the existing structure. R 4 a hit as is Fasolo who can be anything, but settling the midfield pre draft is a good thing.

HP to confirm.

Confirmed.

Basically trading out Harley who's a jet and top 15 (top 10 after DPP changes possibly) and Picken who just went 100 for some youth to cover my aging positional players. Harley is a huge loss and Picken leaves my mids pretty weak but I can survive this season landing some nice youths in Francis and Lennon for the future. Fasolo also a handy young forward that I could use as depth going forward as have Roo, Westy, Pav and Waite in there. Backs a similar story, and wanted to get some youths in I liked with potential. But at the expense of points which may hurt my finals push as basically went out two starters for depth.

rejected, feel the upside of what Iceland is getting is not greater then what he is giving. Harley is probably worth francis lennon alone and a 100+ mid has way too mcuh value even for rook 4

Hi Holz, my updated team list is on the 2Nd post of my team thread. I currently have 38 players.

Trade Announcement

Russian Roulettes  give Tom Lamb + R48 + R62

Spanish Stallions  give Michael Johnson + R14

With Hodge losing Def status and Griffen missing out on gaining it too meant we were light on in the backline. We lose a quality young forward in Lamb, but the exchange of picks balances it out nicely

Spinking to confirm

Confirmed. Both R14 and Johnson were superfluous for us, and am pretty happy to pick up a young bloke I really like.

Thanks for the reply a simple no thanks would have sufficed

trade rejected both because trade period closed and also r14 and MJ being better then Lamb with 48 62 useless to Spink

Ziplock

when did the trade period close? I must have missed the announcement :P

Rids

Sorry but did I miss the announcement of the trade period closing? Would also like to discuss how a guy taken at nat 32 2 years ago isnt deemed enough for rook 14 + a guy that has 1 maybe 2 seasons left. The late rook picks are there to level it out a degree.
