I have a question,Jamar is still technically on my team list since delistings aren't final here yet does that mean I can keep him if he is a top up player.

yep you can still keep him.

um no thanks we are trying to rebuild a list and have planned out our rookie picks already and traded for a couple more higher ones to try be more competitive so I do not agree with that at all

I think you misunderstood what I was saying.

It means that next year when we do the rookie draft, players taken as top ups can be father son selected for.

So for instance, say I have Heppell, who gets banned for a year so at the end of the rookie draft I take player X (after all other rookie picks have been taken). At the conclusion of next year when essendon get reinstated I have to delist player X, but that year I get priority access to him (so I can bid on him with my 2016/2017 offseason rookie drafts picks at a pre-season bidding event).

It's unlikely anyone will get anything from it, but it gives those people who lost a player a potential bit of redemption from the shower fight that this season will be.

LF

Ah ok I get it but tbh if any top up players end up on a team list after this then the team that originally had them on their list last season should get priority

^ well, that's my point :P

I don't think they should just be autoallocated them though... plus I'd like to see a small bidding round in euros, see how it goes :P

Scrads

I've lost Watson and Stanton I demand a minimum compensation of 1 x EXV 2016 Premiership :P

Nah, we should just get replacement picks for suspended players at the conclusion of the rookie draft, they'll hardly make a difference and mostly be 4 game, 45 average players.

Here's a question, do we wait until the Essendon top up players are officially announced before we start the rookie so they can be available there?

LF

Think the compo picks for Essendon players are being done separate to the rookie draft

seperate to the rookie. so you cant pick up top up players and to keep the essendon guys you still can only have 40 on your list including the essendon players. you simply get to pick a top up guy if you have a essendon guy on your list of 40

Continuing from LF's point, how about having the option to undelist a current AFL player. For example, I delisted Angus Litherland, David Myers won't be available this year so I just have Litherland instead and opt not to take part in the draft.
Reckon you should be able to. Since Litherland was on your list and saves from going into the draft for comp players. Reckon should allow any teams who delisted players but wanted to keep in place of the Essendon guys banned should be allowed to, but at the expense of a pick in that compo draft.

Spite

So to compile the main points of what have been said so far;

1) We will have a top up draft for those affected by the saga. This will be after the rookie draft.

2) If you want to un-delist someone you can, instead of picking up a top up player.

3) If you had a top up player on your list but you've delisted them, you can un-delist them and keep them again.

4) The affected players will be put in an order based on their averages.

5) Best mid (heppell) owner gets first pick at top up mids (or leftover players from rookie draft), best forward lost owner gets first pick of top up forwards (or leftover players from rookie draft) etc

Is this correct everyone?

Ziplock

I thought we could undelist players without restriction until the rookie draft tbh :p

Ftr- can people keep players from their team that are top ups? Like if Goodes decides play for essendon, can I choose to retain him asone of my 40? (Not that he'd go, or that is necessily want to keep him :p)

Correct not locked in delisted untill the draft

Greek Titans trade: R33

Swedish Metal trade: Angus Litherland

Pretty simple trade, Metal were delisting Litherland, we wanted him because of shaz and smedts already injured so we made it happen!

Atto to confirm.

Confirm. As Spite said, I was gonna delist him anyway and R33 is better than nothing.

Ziplock

Anyone want R24? Can package it with a player? I'm looking mostly for forwards, but tbh will look at any offers :p

Holz

will update list over weekend as have some free time. can start the rookie draft then.
