Hello mate, elxam is a FF comp run by ossie. It is in the memory of a respected member Max Le who sadly passed away.
It is various comps in one, theres a knockout comp, individual comp RDT SC AF champion but the main award is the Overall Champion where your AF RDT and SC scores are totaled for the year to find the elxam Overall Champion, there's also a State of Origin comp and Champions Leagues where you qualify to play against other coaches who have won one award or another to qualify for the following year. The comp has been going for six years  and open to coaches with 1000 counted posts, you are 115 short but that shouldn't be to hard to knock off before the 2016 season gets underway mate.
Once you have reached 1000 counted posts you'll be able to register for it, at the moment you are unable to access the elxam section because you need another 115 posts. Below is a link to last years elxam SC comp

this will help explain a bit more of what goes on through the year, ossie does a great deal of work to ensure it's enjoyable and remains one of the most important competitions you can be involved in here at Fan Footy, Overall Champion is a dearly sought after title and competed for by the very best coaches FF has to offer and whoever takes it out is always a worthy winner, a year where you dominate in SC RDT and AF is harder to achieve than one would imagine but I urge you to play all 3 comps and have a crack at Overall Champion you will enjoy it im sure.
All the best to you and as i said you should knock the 115 posts off needed and from there we'll help you through registering for elxam in 2016, it's quite simple to do once you have access to the board.

Thank you for the detailed reply on Elxam.  appreciate everything you and the other guys put into the forum and the comps.
Will start looking at options for my 2016 team and rack up a few posts to qualify.

Absolute shocker in 2015 with 12 injury trades 49,537 after sub 6000 finish previously.

Just need Ablett * 2, Rockliff *2, Sloane *2, Johnson, Fyfe, Beams, Franklin, Parker, Bellchambers (DPP), Natanui and a couple of others I can't remember to remain on the park!!
