i would put Gray or Deledio on field for Rioli then Laird or Nic Nat on the bench

Thought Lids would be in Rioli's spot and Laird instead of Gibson

The reason they cited as picking Jack over Tex was because he is rated #1 among KPFs for score assists plus had a 50 goal season. Sure Tex's leadership was great this year and he had a great season in terms of goals kicked and would've come close, but Jack definitely deserved his spot.

As quinny said, JPK wasn't picked because three inside mids starting on field is probably enough, and the guys on the bench are more versatile types (two of which rotate back, two forward). Outstanding season but it would have been hard to displace Priddis, Dangerfield or Fyfe for one of those inside mid spots.
