Reasoning: This is an overpay for Phillips but I desperately needed to secure a backup ruck for Kreuz, and seeing as Phillips should be next in line at the Blues I had to pay up for him.

Reasoning: This trade is more for cap reasons than anything else. I think if fit, Harwood can match or better what Wright did this season but obviously Wright's points help us out a lot more, and I was looking for someone with a bit more JS than Jong and Pearce fits the bill.

Confirmed - Further assisting our rebuild - I think Lin Jong has great potential and investment in the future. Harwood will be a force of HB in Brisbanes side this year and is a year younger than Wright adding to our structure of building a team for the future.

I love Garner and think he will be a decent player but willing to give him up to get Pearce who I think will give me some much needed D/F versatility. Adamant was desperate to get another top 30 pick and the rest is depth for depth basically.
