I'm bored so I thought I'd give my 2c on this weeks games throwing in a DT spin.

Cats vs Pies
This game still matters to Geelong and should they win and the Crows lose then it'll come down to the final game between the 2 to decide who makes the 8.  Pies will try, but the players know that it's to no avail so I see them getting another smashing this week.  Pies have been leaking points recently and this week I'm predicting 8-10 Cats reaching the ton (Jelwood, Motlop, Stevie J, Guthrie, Blicavs, Enright, Caddy and Hawkins being the usual suspects).  Swan, Pendles, Grundy, Sidebottom and Adams will do their thing as usual.

GWS vs Carlton
Doesn't anyone care?  GWS showed promise all year, but have dropped in form since the bye rounds and Carlton, well they suck.  I'd say GWS should take this easily but who knows.  I wouldn't be bringing in anyone from either team this week, but most likely the usual suspects will be consistent, but not huge (Shaw, Treloar, Cripps).

Hawks vs Lions
To everyone thinking the Hawks are "leaking" points because of their game against Port last week...rethink that, because the Hawks will tighten the clamps this week heading towards finals.  Still can't see Rocky or Martin being stopped, and I'm looking at one of the 2 as my captain and thinking of going with Stef at this stage, apart from that the Lions will picked apart by the Hawks who I feel will do a team demolition this week sharing the points with noone going overly huge.

Roos vs Dogs
Roos are the in form team right now, over West Coast and Richmond, but, we all know how flakey they can be.  Dogs coming off the trip to Perth even with Boyd and Picken back I don't think can win this one.  North should get the jump and stay in front for the whole game.  Picken and Boyd are worthy pickups for this week and next as they have had their rest, but I think the rest of the dogs guns (Dahlhaus, Bont etc) will struggle to perform against North who keep opposition players fairly low on the scoreboard.

Bombers vs Tigers
The wholes Bombers saga pissed me off, but even I felt sorry for them last week seeing the players spent after that game.  They won't have to play as hard this week because they will get spanked!  Goddard is a worthy inclusion this week with a decent record against the Tigers and if you don't have Dusty, Deledio or Ellis then I suggest you try and get 1 or 2 of them because I smell some big scores from the trio.

Suns vs Port
Port playing well when it doesn't matter, but they will continue this trend to finish out the year and I think they'll get 2 wins.  Wingard could be a sneaky option as he will go bananas against GC, the rest of the crew should do well too (Boak, Ebert, Gray, Westhoff).  Aaron Hall should continue his lone hand form, but I don't feel his ceiling is high enough to bring in when you want to try and snag some big scores.

Crows vs Eagles
Eagles are fairly leaky too?  Not recently, I like Danger and Sloane in this game, but would rather Priddis and Gaff.  Priddis smells that Brownlow within reach and will poll at least 5 votes over the next 2 rounds I feel.  Coasters should coast with a great record against the Crows and in SA.  Snekay ton for those moneyball players is Scooter if named, if he avoids the vest he'll run with Danger I feel.

Swans vs Saints
Will Buddy and Mitchell be back?  Thats the biggest uncertainty surrounding this game.  If Buddy is back I will be putting him in all my moneyball teams as he will go bonkers against the Saints.  In fact, all of Syndey should go Bonkers this week against the Saints, don't get me wrong, Saints are well and truly above where they were last year, but Sydney are gunning for top 4.  The Sainters mids should still do reasonably well, but won't see enough of the ball, St nick will start out on fire until his hammy goes ping. :(

Dockers vs Dees
Very easy to pick Freo in this one, very hard to know what the Dees will do regarding tagging.  I think Mundy is the top of the list, followed by Neale and maybe Walters.  I would also be wary of players getting rested this week as well, Sandi and Mundy both come to mind.

Agree, disagree?  I'd like to hear it so help me with my decisions this week! :D

I like it - I'm hoping Bartel and Jelwood are among the points tomorrow night as they'll both be PODs for me in my prelim match up. Would love Ellis to go ham against Bombers too - another POD for me, same with Priddis.

Risking it this week, barring teams - instead of upgrading Lambert at M8 for my last rookie upgrade I'm going to play Ah Chee vs Gold Coast, bench Lambert and move Kreuzer up to Stef Martin as my opponent doesn't have Martin. Other trade will be Hodge > Shaw as I already have Mundy and my opponent has Shaw (he burnt me earlier this year when he scored 150 in the West) which will eliminate that POD.

Oh yeah, I forgot about Bartel!  You have the same POD's as me, Jelwood, Bartel, Priddis and Ellis!  Looking at adding Enright for Hodge and Hunter out to Titchell.  Will leave Lambert as my weakest player on field who'll turn into anyone next week.

I'm real tempted to get Enright too but I think I will stick with Shaw just to eliminate that POD. It's a toss of the coin for me out of Ah Chee or Lambert at M8 but I feel like Ah Chee is in better form and playing in the mids with Wines out against a weak side. Seems like Lambert is playing more forward now with Edwards back in the side and he really only got going once Edwards was subbed out last week + junk time.

Yeah I've already got Shaw, I don't want to fork out for Picken and don't want Mundy with risk of rest.  Interesting...so you reckon I'd be better off trading Lambert to Mitchell and keeping Lachie Hunter this week?  My reasoning was that Tigers should blast the bombers giving Lambert a pretty good opportunity to score reasonably well while North restrict opponents meaning Hunter might be a bit quiet this week...

Well, read into it what you will but I'm pretty sure Lambert's good scoring has come almost exclusively when Edwards has been out of the side or like last week when he was subbed out. I would probably hold Hunter myself if I was you, just primarily on the fact that he's been pretty damn good in the last month.

Yeah but you forget Trent Cotchin is out injured this week.... In comes lambert to get that run through the middle. BANG!
