Who you can pick to save you cash - Basically any player named under 200k.
There are very slim pickings under 200k that are not very risky.

Fwds
Towers $160,500 - Has been sub in 3/9 games and I am expecting him to be sub given the Sydney lineup. A massive 121 last week, but next highest is only 67. Realistically I would expect a 50 from him at best if not sub. 10-25 if sub.

Garner $179,400 - Very possible he wont make the final cut, but has been named on field. Also a big sub risk. Would expect a score between 40-50 if he avoids the sub vest and makes the team. Towers is a better option for the price.

Tabener $179,800 - Scored well in a depleted Freo team playing his first match back after 6 weeks. Has only once this season scored over 55 other than last week. Another who will likely score between 40-50 and is also a sub risk.

B. Jack $194,400 - Played the last 8 games of the year and only sub once in that time. Floor is better than the other Fwd's under 200k and you could expect him to get a few more points. 55-60 would be reasonable if avoid sub.

Of the named forwards Jack is clearly the best option, Less risk of sub eventhough it is there, better scoring potential, but he is very unlikely to set the world alight. There is a clear lack of forwards under the 400k range that you can honestly say will score well. Is it worth downgrading a mid price to Jack and upgrading to a super premo somewhere else?

Rucks
None to be found - Cheapest is pike at 272k vs Sandi. Um no thanks.

Mids
Atkins 194,800 - Has a mich higher ceiling than the fwd cheapo's, but he is very inconsistent. He has the potential to pull out a 80-90, or a 50. Or even a 20 if sub. If you choose him know that you are taking a big risk that could be a masterstroke or make you fall well behind.

Def
Dawson 156700 - Expect a 40-50 everyone knows that you will get. You pay less and remove the risk of the sub vest. But you wont be rewarded with points that is for sure.

Jones $174400 - Similar to Atkins in that he has the potential to score well, but can also be completely missing. Id be picking him over Dawson as he is unlikely to score worse, but has the potential to score 20-30 points higher.

I'm pretty tempted to roll the dice on Minson in the rucks. >100k saved over Nat, Sandi, Sauce or Goldy, hasn't had much of a run this season so might come out with a point to prove and from 2011 on he's done ok against Adelaide (50-108, avg 88).

Minson in rucks instead of Sandi affords me anyone in defense (thinking Hodge or Picken) instead of Smith

Sandi + Smith vs Minson + any defender... tough call
