Who will take home the m0nty?

Just as the Brownlow medal was named after a great administrator, so is the elxam league's medal for most dominant coach. I am, of course, referring to the 'm0nty' medal.



Come join us TUESDAY night 1st September from 7:30pm (AEST), where we start LIVE the countdown to see which one of fanfooty's esteemed coaches can take away the m0nty medal for SuperCoach, AFL Fantasy and Real Dream Team. A Red Carpet will begin at 7pm, where we can see our coaches arrive with their partners, and the FRONT BAR will be specially opened serving all sorts of beverages and shenanigans.

I encourage other competitions (XVs, etc) to have award nights this night also!

The count for this year will be slightly different as we no longer play head to head. It isn't just a simple 'high score gets the votes' method, but is heavily based on that. I didn't want a system that could be easily calculated, and wanted 'dominance' to be measured someway also.

So the top 5 scorers will get votes (on a 5-4-3-2-1 basis), but also if your score is 10% greater than the average score for that round, you get a bonus vote. If your score is 20% greater than the average, you get a bonus 2 points. If your score is 30% greater than the average, you get a bonus 3 points! And so on, and so on.....

Should note though the count might not be decided on the night! As the final rounds will count this time and Round 23 would not have happened yet. Just feel people will disappear if we wait until the end of the year. Happy to hear peoples thoughts on this!

Also - there's a chance (my second kid due on September 10th) - that this maybe delayed!
