Lobbe might get about 40+ hit outs but not many hit outs to advantage.

Im not starting him in SC but am in RDT atm
Yeah this is what I basically found out. In the games without Ryder he was averaging around 45 hitouts a game, but only managed to score above 85 once.

With Ryder being out. What do we all think of Lobbe? hopefully he might be able to get back to 2 years ago if i can remember properly.

Everyone gone off him now? All the carry on about him and now I'm not seeing him in anyone's side lol

Think disappointing trial when out played by Dougal Howard may also have something to do with it.

Not a 105+ scorer. Not cheap enough to generate enough cash. One of those inbetween players that aren't very fantasy relevant 95 times out of 100.

not sure why his name is still floating around a big NO!!!

We should want the name still floting around. The players who know will not pick him.

Bit of an overreaction to rule him out over a single internal trial match. Port clearly not overly concerned given he has been left out of this weekends NAB game along with a heap of other first choice players.

He says in my team for now

Minus Goldy majority of premo rucks will finish 105-110
and i really dont see lobbe hitting that mark, i realistically see him going 90-95 max.

Ok, ruled him out. Early signs not good.

Advice from a Port supporter

From what I saw yesterday, he should be avoided. He seems spooked. Ryder is gone but I don't think that was the only reason for his 2015 performance. I don't know what has happened to him since the 2013 & 2014 seasons, but he doesn't look like the same player he used to be.

Half time stats (this was before a complete second half fade out as well);
gAWN - 31 hit-outs
Lobbe - 9 hit-outs

and tbh, the stats make it seems closer than it really was (Melbourne pinch-hitters were close behind his 9 hit-outs).

Honestly, I think Gawn is worth a look (he was superb - looks as though he is serious about challenging Goldstein, he is young as well so the sky is the limit for him).

Lobbe looks like a pass - Dougal Howard could be a good selection for the bench because I think he will push ahead of Lobbe at this rate
