Yep, and I just read NicNat say he is in top condition and has had a full preseason

Sticking with my first choice of Goldy/NN

Awesome! Was tossing up between SMartin, NN and Mummy but with Mummy being injury prone, Martin needing quite a bit of the pill to score well, I was reluctantly left with NN so this makes me feel a lot better.

Be great if Nic Nat can get a clean run at it, he's a freakish talent would love to see what he can do fully fit and confident in his body.

Still haven't decided whether to run with Lobbe at the moment, will take a look at him in NAB.

with dixon sidelined with a knee. surely this guy has to be considered sole ruckman now

Dixon will be back for round one though, could even play a game in NAB. Makes no difference I wouldn't have thought.

MC

Sole ruckman or not, he won't post keeper numbers. A no for me.

Lobbe will be sole ruckman with or without Dixon. Dixon would only have short spells in the ruck.

Im picking him, Goldy is to expensive at the moment so ill trade lobbe to him during the season.

If Goldstein posts another monster score around the time people intend to bring him in, everyone planning to upgrade to him might have a bit of trouble with a price spike.

ADEZ

Dixon won't ruck IMO, Trengove and Hoff will rotate.

Do port have a backup plan if Lobbe goes down?

Jake Neade will sit on the shoulders of Ollie Wines

Still better than Daniel Gorringe  :P

Honestly, I think ADEZ has it right. We need Dixon as a key forward (Schulz could only manage it because of the fast-paced gameplan, and he has slowed down quite a bit since 2013 & 14 when he was executing the game plan with perfection - he cannot play more than a 2nd tall now). I think Westhoff would be 2nd in line and than Trengove (Dixon obviously the better ruck out of the 3, but I would not want to see him shouldering too much work - really, the best key forward Port could possibly land is Kurt Tippett (people criticise him, but at the end of the day he's paid a showerload because he is a gun at playing his role), Dixon is a similar style of player just less durable and not yet at Tippett's level)

Capper

Lobbe might get about 40+ hit outs but not many hit outs to advantage.

Im not starting him in SC but am in RDT atm
