Yeh agree mate, the sacking/quitting of Hird could fire the Bombers up for a serious crack at winning this. Makes it hard to tip as Essendon are certainly better than they've shown over a large part of the season, the end can't come fast enough for them i feel since WADA stepped in. Can't say i blame them we are all sick of it so one can only imagine how the players are feeling.

Suns are very undermanned with Nicholls, McKenzie and Harbrow gone for the season and Dixon not playing as well. If ever a team has a chance to get back on track should be now for the Bombers even with the ASADA/WADA  and contract renewals hanging over them. Good opportunity for players to shine and show they need a renewed contract.  Bombers but not with a lot of confidence.

Turned into a bit of thriller at the end.

We were terrible.

I was at the game. Poor skill errors from Stanton, Goddard and poor defense in the 1st half from Carlisle cost us multiple goals,
which was the difference in the end.

From the reactions from the Essendon supporters I was around on the crowd the quicker Carlisle leaves the club the better. He was booed and copped more bronx cheers than anyone, even the umpires who were terrible.
