Just looking at Reserves teams. I should have looked a bit more closely at London, as they named Giles and MacKay whom were clearly out before the round started. They also didn't name Shane Edwards, which I think they would have if they were playing finals.

So, Sinclair now at R1, Edwards replaces him at F4. MacKay I guess just get replaced by an emergency.

That reliance on the Dees has caught you out again, Purps.  :P
It's a miracle! Think the Fantasy Gods wanted to cut us some slack after last Sunday. Given think Campbell may be doing his best (along with Sheridan's first down week in a while) to sabotage the Sunday. But still, you said it best yourself Purps:

Reindeers struggle past Berlin

That was Berlin's lowest score of the year too... PNL's second worst. What an ugly affair with Berlin left to rue what could have been. Still, the better team won on the day and tbh they deserved to win given both teams' seasons. The Reindeers have won their first ever final, and now look to make the trip down to Crooke Park.

PNL Reindeers (21.6.132) def Berlin Brewers (20.7.127)

PNL: Corey Enright, Chad Wingard, Tom T Lynch, Matt Priddis

Suns Scorch past Spetsnaz

The Suns look to have had this win early in match, with Spetsnaz forward Joe Daniher contributing just 8 points. It was an uphill battle from then on for Moscow, with the hill soon turning into a mountain. The Suns would be pleased at another high score, as they now book flights to New Zealand.

Mexico City Suns (24.11.155) def Moscow Spetsnaz (20.9.129)

Best
Mexico City: Steele Sidebottom, Tom Rockliff, Brett Deledio, Allen Christensen
Moscow: Callan Ward, Dyson Heppell, Robbie Gray, Nic Naitanui

Shanghai Storm Durban Pirates

The Storm were well serviced by its 9 players; no one better than Sam Gray who would have done the Thunder proud. The highest scoring team of the year in the Pirates seemed to have peaked to early in the year, with 8 players failing to reach any heights and ending their season.

Shanghai Storm (17.6.108) def Durban Pirates (12.7.79)

Best
Shanghai: Sam Gray, Ted Richards
Durban: Nicholas O'Brien, Darcy Lang

Princes declare at Tea; Iguanadons no match

When 12 Princes showed up compared to 6 Iguanadons, the match was never really in doubt. London fans continue the year with genuine interest now!

Imperial Princes (17.10.112) def Port Morseby Iguanadons (6.6.42)

Best
Imperial: Matt Shaw
Port Morseby: Jake Kolodjashnij

Well done winners, consolation losers.

Particularly Laverde for the semi final debut

Priddis 2nd Finals Champion medal also

Hellopplz

Priddis <3. That was too close for comfort and happy to get the win. Will need to lift considerably to stand a chance against Dublin, will look forward to the challenge 8).

Bring it Mexico City!

If you take a look at the Champions League, you'll see that we were down to only 15 fit players this week (+ two green vests) and still outscored your bunch of has-beens (not including HGA, which we'll have). That includes scores like 29 from each of Dawson and Garlett and Ben Reid's 45.

Should get Picken, Roberton, Dempster, Boyd and most importantly the 18 possession getting, 3 goal kicking behemoth known as Wilbur back next week.

Pity we suck at home!

Jroo

We had a poor week I thought, but will happily take the win.

Is that legit meow, you out scored us with McKernan captain?  :o Going to be a ripping game next week!

Yep, 1512 (or 1541 with HGA) to your 1488. I fully expect you to pump out a 1650 next week.

Tips for this week would have to be PNL and the Suns.

Beijing:
D: Taylor, Hooker, Thurlow, Varcoe
M: Neale, Shiels, Caddy, Miller
R: Grundy
F: Bell, Betts, Lambert, Dawes
I/C: Kreuzer, Weller

Emg: Mayes, Jones, Gray

Sam Gray really stiff not to get a game in your Best XV after scores of 84, 98 and 102 in his last three games before this week...

Especially when Mav Weller has gone 91, 54 and 63  :P

I did think that too... but Weller has played more than Gray this year, and Gray was coming up against Hawthorn, so gave Toges the benefit of the doubt.

Must admit I didn't even think about playing him over Mav - it came down to him and Dawes for selection in the forward line. Thought Melbourne would do a number on Carlton so Dawes would be amongst it given how showerty Carlton's defence is. Don't think Sam will find himself in the two's much from now on in though ;)

shower, nice effort man.

If you beat me next week, I sure hope you take down Dublin.
