assuming we get both Carlisle and Freeman:

FB: Dempster, Carlisle, Roberton
HB: Savage, Goddard, Webster
C: Freeman, Steven, Newnes
HF: Billings, Riewoldt, Sinclair
FF: Lonie, Bruce, McCartin

F: Longer, Armitage, Dunstan

I: Montagna, Acres, Weller, Membrey

I've been meaning to do this for ages, but always get stuck and feel like I don't wanna leave anyone out.

Geary, Fisher, Gilbert, McKenzie, Ross... god dammit

I want us to transition out some of our older guys, and give plenty of game time to our youth. namely Fisher, Geary and Gilbert. that's not to say give them no games, because we'll need that experience, just wanna make sure our younger guys are getting games under their belts

still early days but that'll do for now. I'm probably missing someone too

Freeman straight into your best 22 without playing a game?

yeah if he's fit imo. exactly what we've been crying out for, a highly rated young guy who is lightning quick, so I think he walks straight in. a lot hinges on his fitness though

How many games you guys expecting to see from McCartin next year?

I've got no idea mate. it's a question I'd like to ask Richo!

maybe like 10-15? it might be hard fitting him in the side with Rooey and Bruce, so I dunno

I'd be trying to play him every game. The more he plays the quicker he'll develop

that's what I hope we do. we might try to play Rooey further up the ground in a wing role leaving Bruce and Paddy up forward. be intetesting to see what we do

Fair enough, not sure that's necessarily always the best though. Personally, I preferred Daniher kicking bags of 5 in the magoos in the early days rather than sit him in a forward line with no supply only to see his stats and confidence fall.

Nonetheless is a McCartin, Bruce and Riewoldt forward line genuinely feasible for large chunks of the season or too tall?

yeah it probably is too tall. we'll probably roll with Paddy and Bruce as the 2 talls, Membrey as the medium forward and our small guys
picking up all the crumbs, leaving Rooey to run around the whole ground doing whatever he wants

Was talks with Richo the other week on one of the radio stations, and he said that Freeman would certainly line up Round 1 if fit (And i guess if we get him...). And he wants Paddy McCartin to get at least 15+ games this year. Which will probably mean Nroo will go onto the Wing for most of the game. Which i'll put a sneaky $15 on him to win the  Brownlow. See if he can do a Matt Richo :P

Maybe Roo has a year left in him for my SC then ;)

this is what I think it will look like. probably Weller in over Acres. I want Acres to play though

I'd rather us play the 22 I posted earlier

_wato

Freeman playing on ball straightaway? Well I'll be

And a lot of weight onto Goddard's shoulders Round 1? CHB?? I thought Carlisle would be that role.
