Talking in regards to the season as a whole.

I'm loving this young St Kilda team.

Future veterans in Geary, Steven, Savage (now think the Saints got the better end of the deal - which is the first time ever) & Armo.

Future superstars in Dunstan, Billings, Bruce, Lonie, McKenzie, Newnes, Bruce, Ross & Weller.

Membrey, Goddard, & Paddy to develop.

Not too familiar with the back six, however I recently found out Roberton was racking up the stats.

Hickey & Longer are getting better with each game.

I originally laughed in 2013 when they said they planned to win a premiership by 2020 and, despite acknowledging the young talent, in 2014 I still thought it was pure rhetoric.

I now genuinely believe they can do it if they keep developing.

The only frustrating player is Acres (only because of injuries - could become an elite utility one day) but he is nothing compared to the designated frustrating player (or 'whipping boys') at the other 17 clubs (speaking from my perspective our whipping boy, Jasper Pittard, can really annoy you when he is having a bad game).

No spuds as well and all the drafees are living up to, or exceeding, the hype (again, at the moment you don't know what it's like to have players like Butcher & Moore hahaha)

Sinclair is a good example of exceeding the hype (I would say Templeton is your whipping boy but he was a draft bargain so no one can really complain)

Sad when Richardson left Port, but he is doing a fantastic job which is the best thing you can see when an assistant coach leaves (it annoys me when they leave for, figuratively, 'nothing').

I'll be following the Saints over the next few years, and they are already the best side at applying pressure (the teams before them were the Swans & Dockers so it's a sign of things to come). Good to see they are just playing footy as well, rather than hanging onto bitter rivalries (Watters & the now gone or retired players seemed to focused too much on beating Ross Lyon and not winning the other games - definitely a benefit of a rebuild).

Richardson wasn't left with much (good to see Lyon isn't making the same mistakes with Freo - i.e. trading draft picks for the best current players who only have 3-5 more years of footy in them) but it hasn't taken long for him to build a competitive side.

Thanks man!! Yeah I'm happy in the direction we are going. I'll be planning on doing a team review, every single player. Seeing as i've seen a handful of 2s games I think I can even review them as well. And I will give a broad rating for the entire team including the coach. So far the Sainters are getting a good rating, disappointing at times, but you get that with a young team!! Can't bloody wait man!

Hickey was amazing tonight. Just worked around the ground - although the Saints deserved the win imo, ruining Geelong's finals hopes for the first time since 2006 is a win in it's own right for a young team (Nroo said the game was the best experience these young players could receive).

Goddard & Webster were fantastic in the defence and I didn't originally rate Membrey but him & Bruce impressed me tonight, they just pushed up the ground.

What I liked most was the tackling pressure (Savage's tackle on Stevie J was the best example of their work ethic) and how no player was stationary (they all had initiative and worked hard no matter which zone the ball was).

All this was without the help of their premier midfielder this season (Armitage - equivalent of if Geelong went into the game without Selwood). The senior players really stood up as well (Gilbert, Nroo, Montags, Ray, & Fisher).

Definitely one of the most entertaining games I've seen all year

Not actually ruined :P Geelongs last 2 are the pies and crows, and Adelaide's WCE and cats...

I'd tip WCE and Geelong to win this week, which means who makes the 8 would depend on who wins the last game :P

I thought Geelong was only on 42 pts (meaning that it would come down to the margins of the final two games as well).

I would still give the Crows the benefit of the doubt, but it is still very much Geelong's for the taking, literally will depend on the final game of the season (I want to say Adelaide could beat West Coast, but it seems an impossible for when comparing the two sides)

Geelong very much still in it (and they will smash the Pies next week). I will be looking forward to R23  :)

Irony is that this will probably come down to that called off game where the draw was allocated.

Yeah if that Freeman is fit, he'll fit straight onto that wing. His carry will be important!
