Hanley giving Schache and Cutler a good talk up. Expecting both to play in Perth. My round 1 selection of the team is

Andrews - Merrett - Paparone
Cutler - McStay - Gardiner
Hanley - Rich - Lester
Bell - Schache - Christensen
Taylor - Walker - Green
Martin - Rockliff - Robinson

Bastinac - Keays - Robertson - Mayes

Bewick - Freeman - Dawson

Went with Gardner as leppa loves a tall back line and gives the opportunity to push Mcstay forward and Keays for a debut over Bewick
Don't think we'd go with 3 mids on the bench. Leppa basically said Harwood would play round 1 in his Q&A. Keays and Robertson out for Harwood and Freeman seems about right off the top of my head. Also pending fitness of guys like Bundy, Green, C Beams.

Harwood for Robertson or Keays for me.  Would be too tall if Freeman came onto bench.  Think Schache and freeman are vying for the CHF position.
If Christesnen does not get up Bewick in
If Green does not get up not sure who to put in to give us the pace Greenie does.  Maybe move Bundy there and Bewick to cover Bundy.

If Both do not get up maybe McGrath ot Keays/Robertson.

Knew I was missing someone couldn't figure out who. Would drop Keays or Robertson for Harwood.

McGrath I assume will still be injured round 1? Reckon Keays may get a run at it, but then get dropped once Bundy and co return.

Was hopeful for Rd 1 but see on the injury list now saying 2 weeks so yea out.  So probably Keays although Dawson may be a slight chance.

Is Trent West the man that replaces Stef Martin if he goes down? Any chance of seeing West line up whilst Martin IS playing?

Otherwise, who is the Lions back up ruck and will they play alongside Martin?

I think Leppa said any one of West/Smith/Freeman/Close would help out Stef

Correct as above and if none play then suspect he may revert to Andrews or Sauce Merrett who have both had stints assisting in the past.
