We reach the preliminary final stage of the competitions. In the premiership we have 4 teams which are in form and we can look forward to exciting finals matches; Lets hope that late outs and injury do not influence results.

Premiership Preliminary Finals

Winchester Werewolves v Huddersfield Hawks @ The Rose Bowl
Werewolves have been the front runners all season but have shown some vulnerability at times. Hawks have really hit form at the right end of the season an have the players to take it up to the Werewolves. Result will depend how well the werewolves can stiffle the Hawks midfield.  If they can get an even share of the ball and get it quickly into the forward line then they will triumph. However if they can not contain them then Hawks have the fire power up front to take advantage. Toss of the coin here but Hawks have the momentum.

Liverpool Rams v Hastings Hurricanes @ Goodison Park
Rams have been a little disappointing so far in this finals series and will need to lift if they are to overcome the rampant Hurricanes who have recorded their highest score of the season in the preliminary finals and are finding form at the right end of the season. This match will be decided by 2 factors which Ruckman Goldstein or Martin wins the contest and which midfield takes the advantage. Rams midfield was disappointing in the qualifying final and will need to lift 100% if they are to quell the Hurricanes midfield. Tend to favour the Hurricanes slightly here,

Plate Preliminary Finals

Manchester Magic v Blackpool Bunnies @ Old Trafford
This match may come down to the performances of Captains. Bunnies captain JP Kennedy has been in solid form during the finals season and Magic have rotating captains. Bunnies are in form and will start favourites in this match.

Leeds Leeches v Oxford Owls @ Elland Road Stadium
Owls have been just doing enough to win but will really need to lift if they are to match the inform Leeches. Leeches will start strong favourites in this match.

Teams to be lodged by bounce of Hawks/Powers game on Friday night.

As a heads up I am going away on Sunday and will not be back till Wednesday. Unsure of Internet access where I am going so may be off line for the period and results not published till later in the week.

Somehow happened last week and in AXVs this week, I don't know how I get so lucky, it's usually terrible for these kind of things (see: my 2015 SC season).  :-X :P

Nige

I don't think I'll be able to captain Goldy this week since he's up against Sandi.

Last time North and Freo played, North got smashed and Goldy had his worst game of the season.  :-X

Not sure what I'm gonna do...

Masten out hurts a bit, he won't play for the Rams again in 2015 even if we make the grand final.  :(

Tom Sheridan and Jayden Laverde both making debuts I believe, I could be wrong on Sheridan, but they've both earned it anyway.

Finger crossed we make the final, very proud of the team for getting this far to begin with! 8)

Sheridan and Laverde... that's crazy. I play against them in Worlds too!  ???
