There was only one more player for Port Morseby, but that wouldn't have mattered anyway with 4 Iguanadon's reaching the 70 mark, and no one stepping up to the plate for Wellington. A consolation prize for Pacific, and an "oh well" for Christchurch.

Pirates tame Wolverines

Another pretty damn high scoring match! It was 9 v 9 in this one, so it really was the quality of the Pirates that got them over the line instead of quantity. The Pirates have been incredibly unlucky to not get a top 4 spot in the first place, having been the number 1 scoring team of the year, but this was a close call and one they'd be happy to get. Cape Town supporters continue the season with interest, and an "oh well" for Moscow.
