Semi final time for both the Premiership and plate.

Premiership Semifinals

Semi Final 1. Hastings Hurricanes v Bradford Badgers (@ Pilot Fields
Hurricanes went down narrowly to the competition favourites Werewolves last week. Badgers recorded a higher score than Hurricanes last week so will enter this game with the momentum. Hurricanes will be looking for improved performances from senior players this week after their below par performances last week. If this occurs and with HGA Hurricanes may get the chocolates but if they are still off their game the Badgers a real chance to progress to the Preliminary final.

Semi Final 2. Huddersfield Hawks v Swansea Breakers (@ Galpharm Stadium
Hard to see the Hawks turning in 2 disappointing performances in succession but they will need to be on their form if they are to overcome the Breakers. The Breakers scored more than Hawks last week as well so will have some momentum going into this match,  Much will depend on the performances of the senior players of both teams and the result may be down to the Hawks HGA. Should be a great tussle between these 2 teams.

Plate Semi Finals

Semi Final 1. Oxford Owls v Grope Lane Giants @ Incheon Stadium
Giants cause an upset by beating the Hedgehogs last week.  Can they repeat the performance against the Owls this week. If the Owls are on their game hard to see the Giants causing them too much worry.

Semi Final 2. Blackpool Bunnies v Birmingham Dragons @ Bloomfield Road

This will be an interesting match and will depend which of the 2 teams turn up. Both teams capable of going big on their day as evidenced by the Dragons score from last week, Bunnies will have the HGA which may be the advantage required. Dragons are the defending plate champions and will not want to let this title go cheaply.  Too close to call the result of this one.

Teams to be locked at bounce of Sydney/Collingwood Game on Friday night,

Oh and lets all get behind the Badgers in the Champions League our only team remaining in the comp.  Well done GL and the Badgers,

There's a good chance that I won't be able to update my team tonight if necessary, and seeing as Higgins is rumoured to not play or something, can I say that if that turns out to be true, I would have Butler on the field and Cutler emg, or would I have to actually post that I'm definitely playing one or the other?
