Upgrading B.Smith, best options with run home from higgins, houli, rance, newnes, simpson, any others

Currently
Shaw, picken, hodge, ibbotson, hibberd, smith (pearce, fields)

Cash not an issue

MC

If cash isn't an issue, could you possibly afford to keep Smith as D7 cover? Might be better to offload Pearce and keep Smith. From those options I would suggest Houli for value, though Simpson/Rance would be better for points. Newnes another good option for consistency, only 1 score you'd be upset about in the last 13 rounds. Higgins the pick of the bunch though, recent form has been amazing!

Higgins > Rance > Simpson > Newnes > Houli  imo

Higgins, McDonald or Roberton be the one's I'd be looking at.

Houli tends to go missing when teams play Richmond close and he can't play that sweeper role he loves, as evident by Houli's up and down scores the past 5 weeks.

Looks like higgins will take the spot. Pearce has more to make, I have 7 trades left so can still afford to downgrade and make luxury upgrade to Hibberd and then buddy in the forward line.

Perhaps you can use a celebratory trade should you win the GF....

Higgins for sure....3 round ave 124. Wow! 2nd highest point scoring defender of the year behind Shaw.
Would give you an amazing defence.

Missy! It's killing me not having him. For somewhat of a pod, every  side I come up against seems to have him. :-[

Bluesalltheway

Yeah gotta go Higgins. Has shown what he can do with a good preseason and an injury free year

Would be, like everyone else above, backing in Higgins at this stage.
Keep an eye out though, he missed a small portion of the end of his match last week against the Dees, and I believe he consequentially ended up in scans yesterday. Quad/Thigh issues I believe. No certainty to play, but with North desperate to win all games from here on in, if he's relatively fit, I'm sure he'd be selected.

Sore knee, says he is good to go. http://m.nmfc.com.au/news/2015-08-10/higgins-will-face-saints

Hope not, been great but if he is, the fairytale had to come to an end at some stage  :-\

Been terrific this year.  It was mentioned he'd probably not play on The Footy Show apparently.

Whispers are Higgins is definitely out, here's hoping not for your sake, but be ready to make a change!
