With Wines, Fyfe, Oxley and Buddy out I had come up with an idea to try and win this week but with Nic Nat being a late out this has caused more problems. I know I have no Chance of winning this week but atleast I want to be competitive.

83k and 5 trades

Hodge, Gibson, Newnes, Mcdonald, Shaw, Oxley, Lever, J Kolo
Fyfe, Mundy, Pendles, Priddis, JPK, Armitage, Selwood, Wines, Knight, Steele, Glenn
Goldstein, Nic Nat, Read
Swan, Dusty, Gray, Daulhaus, Daniel, Buddy, Lambert, Dale

My original plan was to see how my loopholes woujd go from last night but nie with Nic Nat out I have no option but to keep my scores and the obvious idea of keeping Fyfe.

My thoughts were Rockliff and Msrtin for Wines and Nic Nat but my opponent has Rockliff so was looking at going at a POD.
And as its been all year my opponent hasbt got a single out this week!

Any ideas would be great

Buddy out, Gawn in, swing him into ruck, take Lamberts score.

Wines out, Rocky in.

As long as you're happy with Gawn sitting at F6 for the rest of the season, probably the way to go. How long is Buddy supposed to be out for?

Also, consider that it's highly probable Nic Nat will miss more than just this week, and if he does you'll be using Gawn again, so no Buddy would leave a big hole in your forward line. I would encourage Nic Nat to Martin and Wines to Rocky. As you say, you have no chance of winning but just want to be competitive, Rocky is a great selection for weeks to come, so no point going for what will probably be a negative POD.

I've had Gawn at F6 since R14, started with a 66, but then have had 150, 105, 110, 104. Not bad for F6, plus he covered when I had Martin out suspended.

I like the Buddy to Gawn a little more
