Surprised this topic hasn't been started already. I guess most people are out of trades

Fyfe and Buddy my concerns this week and with only 1 trade remaining I'm hoping at least 1 of them gets up, but if they don't then Lambert should be suitable cover

If Fyfe is out, then Bennell looks like the guy I will bring in and his added DPP will be handy with no trades left

If Buddy is out, then I can get Gawn, Dahl or Bartel. Leaning towards Gawn for added DPP and scores very consistently, but facing Goldy this week a little concerning

Thoughts? And what trades are you doing?

Blues Blues Blues

I have Beams, Wines, Fyfe and Buddy to deal with. Hopefully buddy gets up, then I'll play Lambert for Fyfe and trade out Beams and Wines who's seasons are over. Leaning towards Lids, Lewis or Priddis as per my other thread

Completed team with 2 trades left only concern is Fyfe, i finish top in my cash league and my opponent this week has been scoring well lately and his side is similar to mine. Would be great to get the win and have the week off so atm got Lambert emg for Fyfe if he goes und 80 im really thinking trading out Fyfe but not sure for who, mids atm are Hanners, Pendles, Ward, JPK, Rocky, Selwood, Danger. im 4k off getting Priddis so who would be the next best option

Have Wines to deal with might go a bit of a wildcard Heppell , Neale , Jack , Hartlett , McVeigh , Barlow , Harvey , Swallow or Sloane so many to choose that I can afford using 1 trade any thoughts ?

enzedder

I say but Ricochet might be looking.

I've also got Beams to deal with. Ranked 27th so I've been looking at the other teams ahead, 13 have either Beams/Wines to deal with so making the right call is important here

Dangerfield is the obvious choice, but i'm not sure if getting in a player that everyone else has is the right choice considering my position

So my other options are:

Deledio - good draw, good player, should average 120 and is only in 7 teams ahead of me
Rockliff - Very nice draw (apart from Hawks), only in 9 teams but has shown himself to be susceptible to a tag this year and i'm not sure why. If anyone is capable of finishing off the season in a massive way though, it will be Rockliff
Parker - Very nice draw, although other Sydney mids seem to be taking his points and isn't exactly a big enough POD to be worth it (in 8 teams ahead of me)

Still leaning towards Dangerfield considering his draw is also decent (plays Brissy and Bombers) and Adelaide will need him firing if they are to make finals

The concern with Danger is that his scoring seems to be a lot more inconsistent when Sloane is in the team, however he's definitely the safest option out of those you've mentioned. How much of a factor does price factor in for you?

$100 off going Wines to Hanners and Buddy to Bennell.... flower!

Who would you choose instead of Bennell (and is at least $100 less obviously)? Daulhaus or Motlop?

money would only really be useful if say Buddy or someone else already low priced got injured in the 1st qtr and dropped heaps

So going cheaper would have a slight benefit I guess, but points on field is the main aim

RaisyDaisy

Mac, I reckon you have to go for broke and get more of a pod. No guts no glory

Do you have Lewis? Seems to be hitting form, finished strong last year and should be a pod vs the 26 ahead of you

Yeah in that case Danger or Deledio would definitely be preferable over the other two. I have both: Danger has been rock solid since about round 7 (which was coincidentally around the time Sloane got injured), and Deledio seems to have a high ceiling with relatively decent low's (around 90 odd) in his current form. Considering you're after a POD, Deledio might be the way to go
