Beams out for: Selwood or Priddis?

Mids
Fyfe Hanners Danger Pendles Jpk Trelour Lewis

Selwood for mine!

I'm a bit worried for teams this week, Buddy and Fyfe are my concerns with just one trade left.

If I have to trade, thinking one of the following:

Fyfe > Hannebery
Buddy > Mitchell

But we'll see, hopefully no trades at all...

AaronKirk

Stretch to Payne (DPP cover and cash gen)

Wines to T.Adams.

Only 1 trade left now but Have Adams, Steele and Lambert on Mid/Fwd benches as cover

Gigantor

2 trades and 196K, Saad at M9/D7

Franklin to Lids, Cripps at M8

Cripps to Lids, Franklin at F6

Saad to Lids, Will have to pick one of Cripps or Franklin to field each week

Cripps to Lids and Franklin to Goddard, no trades left

Hopping Franklin doesn't play to make the choice easier

Money Shot

Alright so I'm getting Malceski and Kelly are out and Hodge and Houli are in.

Just thinking if Hodge is the way to go ... Will he get rested???

Have Shaw, Simpson, Newnes and Hibberd!!!

Houli I think will finish the year strongly and hodge is the best ya can get!!!

Do you already have Picken? Cheaper than Hodge and the Dogs have a good run home...

Mark

Really really need help...

Do I trade out Wines-McKernan to Gawn-H.God.

Leaves me with 1 trade left and $194,000.

Still have Bob M- Fyfe out this week but with cover.

Gawn will play forward and just swing Bonts etc in the mids.

Team.
Mids.. Pendels-Kennedy-Ward-Heppell-JSelwood-BONTS-TMitch (Fyfe-Obrien-Steele)

Forwards.
Gray- Swan - Martin - God - Gawn - LAMB.
(Lambert-H.God) loophole bench for best score

Finished on top so have second chance but would love week off

twinkle

Beams to Priddis, and Wines to Rocky.

Bob on the bench for Hugh Goddard. Fyfe on the bench for Caleb Daniels (via DPP'ing Steele to the forwards - Steele looks a likely out based on their extended bench).

Crap start to finals! Can (just) field a full team at least I suppose.

RaisyDaisy

Got no idea what to do now and I have been crippled by teams

Murphy, Fyfe and Buddy all in my side

I have Edwards, Lambert and Steele as cover, and if I have to field all 3 I will surely lose my final and drop in rank

Lambert can cover Fyfe or Buddy, but who do I trade out and in? Edwards getting named, and on the field gives me cover for Bob but he could be sub or score horribly, and Steele could be sub too

With 95k and 1 trade left I can only really sideways Bob to Rance, but I feel like that's a waste and am seriously thinking I should just field Edwards and hope for the best

As for Buddy, I can trade him to Dahl or Gawn, or I could trade him to Lewis via Lambert, meaning I will have Lambert at F6 and Lewis as M9 but covering Fyfe this week. This means that moving forward I lose DPP as both Lambert and Steele will be in my forwards and permanently be my F6, which I don't love

I think I need to field Edwards for Bob, Lambert for Fyfe and trade Buddy to Gawn or Dahl

Thoughts?

Shaw, TMac, Houli, Picken, Simpson, Murphy (Edwards, Fields)

Fyfe, Pendles, Jelwood, JPK, Hanners, Priddis, Danger, Rocky (Lambert, Glenn, Kavanagh)

Goldy, Nicnat (Read)

Gray, Dusty, Goddard, Swan, Bont, Buddy (Steele, Dale)

I'd have a few plans in place, ready for Sunday teams announcement. Edwards is no 100% cert to make the cut.  And yes, could be sub and yes we know he's capable of getting a single digit score even if he is a starter.

All things being equal, Buddy to Tmitch is the trade to go for.  You'll maintain DPP link. (I think Fyfe will return for derby and Franky has a very unpredictable injury)

However the fragility of your back line is a major issue and should Murphy not return, you will be massively stuffed.

Any good options you like just for Wines (Lewis, Sidey, Selwood) and keep the other trade?

Mark

Cheers mate. Was thinking maybe or more like 95% going Wines to Rocky.

Could have a massive game this week also against GC.

Thanks again

Like that trade.  Rocky starting to rev up and 2 trades left hold you in good stead

Elcapitano

I need to offload B Grundy...
with Witts not being named should I
hold 1 more week, can he score over 100 against a depleted Carlton?
Or grab Big Stef Martin as I've had planned all week..

I'm $10,000 short of being able to do both -
Grundy & KK to Martin & Hodge

Option 1: Grundy - Martin

or..

Option 2 : KK - Hodge

Option 3 - anything else??

Def: Shaw, Rance, Picken, Murphy, Newnes, KK (Hamling, A Pearce)

Ruck: NicNat, Grundy

$222,000

See I feel like I should roll the dice on Edwards and just cop whatever he puts up, because of the 3 guys I am missing Bob is the one I am certain will return next week as he is just being rested

Lambert can cover Fyfe because he has the ability to 80+ which wouldn't be too much points lost vs Fyfe, but Steele for Buddy could see a higher loss in points especially if he is sub again, so I think I need to trade Buddy

I reckon I should go with Gawn, because having that DPP link in case Goldy or NN get rested or miss a week would be handy, and he seems to ton up every week too. Mitchell could be a good option too I guess

Murphy to Rance just seems like no real gain in my eyes. I don't know

Gawn a solid option (plays Goldy this week though) and yeah, the MPP with your rucks could come in handy.  His durability is questionable too but he is a good scorer.

As far as copping a rookie score, it's best done in defense where the scores can be up and down so taking Edwards' score is okay if he actually plays.

Step 1. Wait for Edwards to make the cut
Step 2. See what Lambert actually gets tonight
Step 3. Assess from there.

Your trade is good but it leaves your defense with no solution if Bob doesn't return or something else happens.  You've gone pedal to the metal and it's paid off so far but there's still 5 rounds left. A long way to go.
