well the changes are, and usual suspects missing out again....

IN:  Sam Shaw, Richard Douglas
OUT:  Jake Lever (rest), David Mackay

Still no CEY, Kerridge, Grigg, Cheney... can see Kerridge and/or Grigg asking for trades come October

Grigg is a good Adelaide boy, I can't see him asking for a trade. But far out, if we don't start giving him games, I certainly wouldn't blame him! He's torn up the SANFL for like 3 years now.

ADELAIDE wingman David Mackay is fighting to remain part of the club's finals plans, having been dropped this weekend for his first SANFL game in more than two years.

Mackay's form has tapered off significantly in 2015, and after spending the past fortnight as the sub, Crows assistant coach David Teague said the 27-year-old was simply not in the club's best team.

So why the hell play him at all then?
Give Grigg etc the chance

Wonder why Wright has been so bad, he was immensely good a few years ago

Firstly, this just proves the depth at Adelaide is strong! ;D

Secondly, Knight and Atkins are really looking the goods, especially Atkins! As CEY was earlier in the year with Cheney and Kelly, Lever is now and Grigg had that very good month before injury. Matt Crouch and my boy Jarryd Lyons getting a good go of it now and they look good!

IMO Kerridge and Mackay are the only two that may look for a trade but that brings Aish or the Shag back home 8)  I'd prefer to keep both men but, I'd love two have those two future superstars also! Remember, Tommy Lynch also could be trade bait if he can't get his three year dal at Adelaide he wants!

Thirdly, everything hinges on Paddy's signature or departure! I for one believe if as he may, leave only for money, Adelaide may match any offer. Forcing anyone to trade fairly in a bidding war for him   ............    8)

But, matching and keeping Paddy (Who's whole life is actually in South Australia anyway), might just be the best way to win a Premiership under Scott Camporeale next season 8)

Tom Lynch trade bait? Wow, I rate the kid!

Kerridge could head back to Vic in a deal that gets you Scharenberg hey. I heard Schaz has big raps but Kerridge has dominated at sanfl level and has performed on the big stage too!

I like Kezza I have always thought he could play, good long kick and can play forward as a bigger bodied midfielder who marks above his head

But he is a Victorian and he may have been overtaken by the Crouches and a few others mentioned now. He's an asset at a rival club and Collingwood could use his build I reckon! But don't ask me, I'm a bias Glenelg supporter who wants the Shag to return :P

Anyway I predict a heavy trade period for the crows anyway! Lynch who does want a three year deal and being offered two by Adelaide, Lyons, Mackay and Kerridge could all seek greener, plus Paddy!

In my perfect world I wouldn't care if we lost those four fringe players but kept Paddy and signed James Aish and Matt "The Shag" Schaenberg! 8)  But I do like Lynch and hope he signs! Would like to see Lyons get a decent go at it too! Unsure if Adelaide can offer that

I'd give Lynchy a four year deal to come West to be honest :p

What a swingman partnership he'd become with McLovin!

Or stay here and play with McLovin's little brother ;D  I'm looking forward to Mitchy's debut!

You're not the only one mate, was hoping he'd get a couple of runs this year but injury at a bad time didn't help.

Lycett + second rounder for Lynch + little McLovin.

Sounds good to me :p

What do you guys think of this?
Him resigning keeps a younger player out of the best 22 for another year.

Toga

Need to re-sign Lynch and give him four years. Stupid not to!

And Thompson has shown this year that he's still got it. Good move giving him one more.

TomK

I hope that next year, we start to faze him out and only give him 8-12 games. I was hoping we'd do that this year but his form has just been too good to drop him.

He could be important particularly if Danger goes.
