Hipwood similar to McStay can play at both ends but prefers back.  Remember Merrett is 31 so he will need to be replaced but with Andrews, Clarke, McStay, Hipwood and Gardiner we will have a solid defensive unit, Just a pity at the moment we do not have the big bodied forward and hopefully we gain that with Walker while Freeman, Close, Schache continue to develop.

But whatever happens we need some more 2nd round draft picks to get the points to secure both Keays and Hipwood. If we secure Schache, Keays and Hipwood in the draft I would say well done to us. Suspect we can land both Reuben Williams and Moboir Choi with late picks or rookie draft. The Academy finally producing the goods and there are other good players coming through as well.

Think Schache will need a year to develop GL his stats have dropped over the last half of the year but the competition for selection will do wonders. West will also enter the equation if we play 2 rucks.
