I still hold it over him that my Polar Bears beat his Serbian Chokers (clearly the best team on paper) in the European XV GF last year :P.

Guns are rested or take it easy in the last round of the season. Its my main worry with Dublin.

Excuses :P. Bigger teams can fill the outs with stars while lower teams don't have that star power if their guns are rested ;).

Week 3 Final Results
(Drag image to new tab to view)
I may have made a mistake so let me know if you see one.

Breakers win... not much
Swansea Breakers(1446.07) Defeated Belgian Bashers(1439.31)
Final Scores:

In a irrelevant match the Breakers salvage some pride to finish on 1-2 whilst the Bashers just weren’t Championship Material as shown with their 0-3 record.

UAE Stay Strong
UAE Tigers(1531.68) Defeated PNL Reindeers(1529)
Final Scores:

UAE pick up the win in a tight one and with this claim top spot in Group A. The news is not bad for PNL as they still go through.

Rams knock Lambs
Liverpool Rams(1513.56) Defeated Mongolian Lambs(1470.90)
Final Scores:

The Lambs needed a win this week and they couldn’t get it. Both of these teams failed to make it through.

Suns rise
Mexico City Suns(1598) Defeated Macedonian Wolves(1441.34)
Final Scores:

Mexico City needed a win to make it to the next round and they didn’t disappoint. The Wolves won’t be too upset as they make it through anyway.

Hawks fly
Huddersfield Hawks(1388.51) Defeated Bangladesh Bears(1320.19)
Final Scores:

The Bears were through last week and it seemed they were already planning for it as they rested a few of their top stars. Despite this win, the Hawks won’t be progressing to the next round.

Berlin progresses
Berlin Brewers(1483) Defeated Serbian Eagles(1442.35)
Final Scores:

This was a match to watch! Both teams needed to win to move forward. In the end the Brewers proved to be too much for the Eagles

Ales show No Mercy!
Australian Ales(1540.14) Defeated Oxford Owls(1278.34)
Final Scores:

The Ales made a statement here and finish top of their group with a 3-0 record.

Polar Bears blast
Iceland Polar Bears(1386.60) Defeated Moscow Spetnaz(1316)
Final Scores:

What a finish to this one. The Ales finishing 3-0 means that the other 3 teams all finished 1-2!! But only 1 can progress! Who will it be? Result will be up shortly.

Selwood + Goldy combo too strong
Dublin Destroyers(1627) Defeated Kathmandu Eskimos(1382.43)
Final Scores:

Both teams have already progressed and were playing off for top spot. The Eskimo’s however decided that it wasn’t worth playing too hard here and instead saving their energy for next week. But is there anyone that can challenge Goldy and Dublin?

Svalbard finally
Svalbard Valkyries(1530.54) Defeated Nottingham Hoods(1389.50)
Final Scores:

Svalbard have shown glimpses of that potential but it all came about too late. As they feasted on the Hoods in a irrelevant match.

Storm do the job
Swiss Storm(1397.75) Defeated Hastings Hurricanes(1289.26)
Final Scores:

The Storm needed to win and they did! The Hurricanes are also through and may add a Champions League trophy to their cabinet to go along with their “Sure thing” BXV Premiership.

Strikers strike out
New York Revolution(1410) Defeated Sri Lankan Strikers(1321.66)
Final Scores:

The Revolution were already out. The next batter came to the plate and they struck out. Sri Lanka needed a home run to win. Or at least a hit. They could win and that means their out!

Lions progress
English Lions(1380.52) Defeated Toronto Wolves(1288)
Final Scores:

The all important final games in Group G where whoever won would move on. The Lions gave just enough to book themselves a ticket to the Round of 16.

KL limp to next round
KL Crocodiles(1443.21) Defeated Winchester Werewolves(1392.48)
Final Scores:

The Crocs may have some injuries but they were still able to get over the Werewolves to advance to the next round. Despite being hurt, the Crocs are still a team that could go bang and win it all.

Bradford win in tussle
Bradford Badgers(1403.40) Defeated Russian Roulettes(1368.36)
Final Scores:

Both teams would have felt like they had a chance to pinch it. But in the end it’s going to be the Badgers joining Christchurch in the next round.

Saints not so saintly
Christchurch Saints(1244) Defeated Laos Elephants(1236.27)
Final Scores:

Had no idea what Coach meow was trying to do here. But somehow it payed off. Amazingly also meaning that the Saints finish 3-0!

Again if you see any mistakes let me know.

Levi434

With that. The group rounds are over!

We are down to 16 teams and all matches are knockouts!

Magic mirror on the wall,
Who's the team that will win it all?
