WEST Coast will name an unchanged team for Saturday night’s clash with Gold Coast, with defender Will Schofield expected to overcome his calf issue and take his place against the Suns at Metricon Stadium.

Schofield will travel with his teammates on Thursday afternoon and undergo a fitness test on the Gold Coast on Friday.

His inclusion is a significant boost for the Eagles, with one-gamer Tom Barrass the only other recognised key defender in the team.

There goes my ruck cover. I'm expecting a rest for Nicnat any soon now. :-\

And of course I traded out McKenzie last week instead of Dumont. McKenzie would have allowed me to swing Newnes into the mids  to cover Fyfe and play Lever in Defense. >:(

West Coast won't rest Nic Nat - They have a fairly tough run home and will be as eager as ever to get the home qualifying final against Hawthorn/Fremantle/Sydney.

And I'm sure they're a little nervous about resting Nat when he's in such great form.. He's a a momentum type player so if he misses a week there could be every possibility he comes back a little slowly which is something they do not want.

Plus, every player WANTS to play every game, so why rest Nic Nat when he's had injur problems and he's as fit as ever? He'd probably be the one to say 'no I don't want the rest'.

And with Goldy, North are eighth so he'll HAVE to play every single game from year so they get a home final and can finish as high as possible. I'm predicting they'll want 5th or 6th against the WB or the other team to make the eight, without having to play Richmond.

So to me, I won't worry because they won't get rested unless there's a serious injury concern. Just my opinion though.

Suns confirmed Saad will play!

Means I get two bites at the Fyfe cover cherry! Lambert can have a crack on Friday then Saad can have a go if he spuds it up.

Wouldn't that just be loopholing Lambert?

You cant make them both E, as you would get the lower score
Yeah loopholing Lambert and Saad to cover Fyfe

Fyfe stays on the field at first, Lambert plays Friday night with the E, if he spuds it I swap Fyfe for Saad. If Lambert does OK Fyfe stays on the field

That was my plan last week with Steele and Lambert and then buddy pulls out and stuffed everything up. Sometimes loopholing can backfire but other times it's a bonus.
Yeah late outs always worry me when I'm loopholing, luckily this week none of my mids play after Saad so he can cover any late outs.

Just realized I cant loophole Lambert with Fyfe :(

I have Lambert as mid E, but Steele is in fwds so if Lambert spuds up I am stuck with him as E and would have to field Glenn, so I think I just have to make Lambert E in the fwds, put Steele in the mids and hope Dale gets dropped and if Lambert goes well I can swing Gray into the mids, Steele into fwds then switch Steele and Dale to get Lamberts score

Confusing, but all I can do

If Dale holds his spot I cant loophole at all (Well Glenn and Lambert but don't want to field Glenn either way), then I just have to field one of Steele, Lambert or Glenn for Fyfe - reckon I will just field Lambert if he isn't sub

Yeah, makes sense. Fingers crossed no injuries.

No Hamling? sweet, gives me decent amount of captain's loophole options now..

Ox and Fyfe hurt but cover isn't too bad. Hopefully Lambert can rip out another big score tonight

Lambert has all the signs of a "potential pig" fantasy footy pick in a season or 2 Rico  ;)
