Was thinking this a no brainer but doesn't seem popular.

Am I missing something ?

I think Pendles has lost his appeal slightly because he hasn't really been putting up much big scores. Consistent as always, but only once or twice this entire year has he put a juicy captains score

I think that's why he's a great VC option - if he doesn't fire up, go to plan B

I think that's why he's a great VC option - if he doesn't fire up, go to plan B

VC loop is like a free swing.  You want to knock it out of the park, not get a respectable second base hit.  Given it's all or nothing you're better off going with someone who goes big more often, even if they average less.

Although it's quite possible that all those players will outscore Hodge, Danger is the one that stands out to me as someone who should definitely score higher than 113 this round.

Nothing wrong with taking the 121 from Lewis. Feels safe, but if you lose out on 10 points or whatever then so be it

Wouldn't take Hodge Tom - need more than 113

Those stuck on whether to take this score or that:

If the VC score is more/same than the average of your C player, lock it in.

Lewis probably okay.  Hodge probably not.

(and if you captained Zac Dawson, take any score from your VC; even if they aren't playing this week ;)  )

I'm just concerned on the rain wet footy here in melb today for players DE.
Mainly my vc's Pendles/Jelwood - I like Jelwood better in the wet so prob go him.
and go Goldy C under the roof.
