How Do I Use My Last 2 Trades?

Here's my team

Shaw, Picken, TMac, Houli, Murphy, Simpson (Edwards, Fields)

Ablett, Fyfe, Pendles, Danger, Jelwood, Hanners, JPK, Rocky (Steele, Kavanagh, Glenn)

Goldy, NicNat (Read)

Gray, Dusty, Swan, Goddard, Buddy, Bont (Lambert, Dale)

The way I see things, I have several options

Option 1: Ablett to Priddis/Mundy/Macrae and hold final trade for an injury/finals

Option 2: Ablett to Sloane and Steele to Lewis. Gives me 9 prem mids so I can loophole, but relying on Edwards as D7 cover for the rest of the year

Option 3: Ablett to Sloane/Lewis and Steele to Bartel via Lambert. Lambert becomes M9 cover with DPP and this gives me 7 prem forwards so I can loophole there each week. Again, Edwards as D7 is the only real concern

Option 4: Ablett to Sloane and Edwards to Kelly. Steele and Lambert would be M9/F7 rotating cover for the rest of the season, and I can loophole TMac or a defender each week with Kelly giving me 7 prem defenders

Option one for me, hold that trade for the inevitable LTI to one of your players in the next month. :(

Second choice for me would be Option 4, Lambert and Steele aren't the worst F7/M9's going around but Edwards is a shocker at D7

Option 1 for me. Definitely save that trade for finals since some players may be rested or injured (hope not).

Has to be option 1 as you only have 2 trades left.

If you had 3 trades left then I would have said option 2

The idea of having 9 prem mids is nice, but I agree that even though all options are nice, Option 1 is the most sensible

Now, Priddis, Mundy or Macrae? I'm really torn 50/50 between Priddis and Macrae. Priddis is so reliable, but ever since Macrae got dropped and returned he has been awesome and the Dogs have a soft draw

Option 1 and get Priddis or Ward then your mids would be the same as mine lol

How about Ablett to Hodge and some cash. I think this may give you more diversity for your last trade if you remain LTI FREE. :-\

I have considered this ST, but something keeps telling me that Hodge will get a rest soon, or that he cant keep scoring so well lol

Wish I had him down back, but I think I wont have him this year :(

Really leaning towards Macrae for a POD, because I expect a lot of people will be jumping on Priddis this week

Option 3.

Gives you great cover ith Bartel and the ability to loophole a gun like that at this stage of the season is great.

Sure its risky and option 1 is safer but if your pushing hard than 3 is the way to go.

Just dont do option 2 thats terrible.

Haha, I agree, but I think the only reason I put that option down is because I can do it with $200 to spare, so I feel like it gives me max value for money lol

Still one more week of leagues then finals, so I think Option 1 is the way to go for me as my cash league is my priority

Option 1 makes the most sense to me. Reason being that the other options may provide you some cover on other lines, but that also mean you're pre-empting that that's where you'll need cover. If a defender or ruck goes down, you're screwed, whilst having a premo you can't count every week...

Yep, Option 1 is locked in

Just need to flip a coin on Priddis and Macrae.

The next 2 weeks are the most important, because it's the final league match and then first week of finals (which I want to win so I can advance straight to prelim) so looking at their opponents might be a factor

Priddis: GC at Metricon and HAW at Subi
Macrae: Essendon and Port at Etihad

By getting Macrae or Pridds I'll still be left with over 100k

I don't see how having the extra cash will be important for me, because that last trade will just be a sideways trade due to an injury, or upgrading a poor performing prem in which 100k would be enough, surely?
