I think my replacement options would be Danger>Hanners=Priddis> Mundy. Assuming everyone already has Fyfe and probably Pendles. Budget options being Rocky, Sloane, Lewis and Selwood, though I still wouldn't touch the latter two. I'll probably toss up Danger and Priddis all week :P

Wouldn't even contemplate Macrae

Why not?

Was poor at the start of the season and Beveridge dropped him to the Magoos. Came back and has averaged just shy of 120 since (past 7 matches) and with their draw home he has to be considered

Agree, RD, I've got lots of time for Macrae, but I'll probably chicken out and opt for either Priddis or Jelwood (if I'm satisfied that the real Jelwood is back in town).  Plus, the money I make from a Jelwood trade opens up other doors in the forward line, namely,
upgrading the totally unreliable Ziebell, probably to Gray, who I've regretted being without all year.

Don't forget about Sidebottom 107, 122, 117, 117 in his past 4 with 3.3% ownership

Sidebottom is on my radar too. I think it comes down to how many trades you will be left with

If getting someone cheaper like Jelwood or Sidey will leave you with enough to use another trade to get another prem into the side, then that's the way to go for sure, but if like me you're only left with 1 trade and 100k after grabbing Priddis or Macrae, then I might as well spend up on them because 100-150k isn't enough to upgrade another rookie to a prem in my case anyway, so that last trade for me will just be for an injury

Totally changing my trading based on cover with all the injuries and low trades will look at a fallen prem and upgrade my bench and loophole

Let's say you had to pick from Danger, Priddis or Hanners?
+1, same

BomberSam

If I had to pick from Danger, Priddis or Hanners-

Priddis
Danger
Hanners

In that order for mine.

That's what I was thinking.
Do like getting Priddis at this stage of the year. GUN!
Does Fyfe REALLY have the Brownlow wrapped up?? Can this guy go back-to-back????

wixy

Wait a week and see how Sloane goes. Might outscore the lot on the way home.

Iv taken Danger over Hanners...lets see how this works out, last trade anyway. THANKS GAZ!   :-[

Seeing a fair bit of love for Priddis over Danger, any particular reason why? Purely price? Looking at season and recent form, Danger seems to be the pick to me...

Having Priddis late season seems to be a thing, sort of like starting the year with Ablett... he is renowned for finishing strongly. As for Danger, he has been in incredible form, career best surely? Let's just hope he keeps it up for the rest of the season! I was one of the 17.3% of teams that started with him, and he is now likely to be in over 30% of teams after this round.
