Should be match of the round with 2nd v 4th on the ladder.
Swans got absolutely smacked by the Hawks last weekend and will be looking for redemption this week.
Eagles took care of the Pies in what should have been a big win if not for poor kicking in front of the goals.
Swans with their key defender Richards out and tall forward Tippett would favour the Eagles but Eagles lost McGovern who has been fantastic for them all year and will be hard to replace.

West Coast at home should be too strong even with out McGovern.  If they win this one then maybe the doubters will start to see the Eagles as a legitimate flag threat. Best way to dispel doubters is keep winning.

No Mcgovern will hurt. But swan are missing Richards, Tippet and Bird. So you wont get them at a more vulnerable time. So there injuries outweigh ours. Think this and the fact we are at home, means we should get up. I reckon by about 4 goals.

Schofield has got the legs to run with Buddy, but we're going to need to continue to play our team based defense, and I hope that whoever comes in for McGovern can slot right in and adjust to the game plan straight away

This is a big test for our boys, and although Sydney has a few outs it doesn't mean too much anyway. A win here puts us right in the premiership window

Carn Eagles!

In another example of showerty/stupid fixturing, this'll be the 5th year in a row these sides have played once, at Subi, same as the dons travelling to play Freo every year.

Swans have a total hoodoo over the iggs since 2007 (although that's probably more due to the iggs being cellar-dwellers most of the time, not that iggs fans remember that period at all), and knowing them they'll be flowering pissed about getting stuffed at home last week, so I'll back them in.

Just bought tickets to go to the match, can't wait should be bloody awesome

Big Mac

Play Buddy out of the square and he should kick 5+ on Schofield

JJK a worry at the other end though

Who makes the cut for West Coast?

Extended Bench:
18 Xavier Ellis
22 Callum Sinclair
33 Josh Hill
44 Jamie Bennell
36 Fraser McInnes
37 Tom Barrass
38 Murray Newman

Ellis, Sinclair, Hill are locks IMO, does Barrass get a run or do we play small with no Tippett?

I don't think Hill is a lock tbh
Ellis could come out yet only because he got injured last week in the game and he may not come up or they may not want to risk him.

It's down to Barrass or McInnes, if they think McInnes can play down back
