We were in front despite some questionable frees inside 50 (not blaming the umpires overall) and horribly inaccurate goalkicking. Then Houli decides to do the unforgivable and we lose. We can say goodbye to top 4 again. Looking forward to finishing somewhere 5-8 and having another disappointing finals performance. I don't know why I invest so much in this bloody football club /rant

Houli's decision and choking in front of goal cost Richmond.

Free kick count was 24-18 Richmond's way and the umps were terrible both ways.

The goalkicking was the difference in a game where Richmond clearly were the better side IMO which bodes well for finals.

It's not so much the free kick count as where the frees were (Freo had 10 inside 50) but I agree that the umpires didn't cost us the game.
