Did Cairo get past New Delhi's 81 points from Round 1, 2013?

Pacific Leave Beijing Behind

In the first of many close tussles I'm sure as these two teams improve, the Islanders come out winners in what is perhaps the win that gets them into finals! The Thunder can still say they've been consistent in the back half of the year, and reckon they still have another win left in them before the year is out. But we officially say goodbye to Beijing in the race for finals.

Cairo Disaster makes way for Dominant Saints Victory

In a WXV's first, both Cairo's Captain and Vice-Captain couldn't make the park, so fifteen players walked in with no leadership and hence no real chance at winning. The Saints will always love a 150+ score.

Cobras Fight, but Suns Rise Again

Was a good tough tussle, with a couple of tense moments for the Suns. But a lack of star power was the difference for the Cobras, whom now face a very slim chance at making finals.

Berlin produce a Finals Brew

This one makes me happy, as a loss would have made me incredibly stressed out at the chance I wouldn't make finals. But, it now seems likely (still not 100% certain) that I will. For London, the team that has beaten both Dublin and PNL, we officially say goodbye from the finals race.

Moscow Implode. Dublin Destroy.

Reckon the big story out of this is the absolutely shocking score that has been produced from the Spetsnaz, which has come out of basically nowhere... this is not confident inspiring for either coach or players with finals just two rounds away. Nothing new about Dublin.

Revolution Cruise Over Tigers

New York did what it had to, but seeing as it only scored 121 last week, they would ideally be wanting to score more at this time of the year. It was an important win nonetheless. Can New Delhi scrape just one more win?

PNL Building with win over Armadillos

Nothing surprising here, for either team. PNL probably scored a little below average, but it's still above the majority of the comp. Buenos Aires continue to find out which players will stick around next year.

Wolves post Rhyce-ah-Shaw-ing Win

WOW! What a game! 4 SuperCoach points separated the teams, but considering what was at stake for Toronto, this win is amazing. Vice Captain Vince had to stand in for the injured Captain GAJ, but it was the performance of usually low scorer Rhyce Shaw that brought the Wolves home, in a potentially season defining win!

And in regards to the headline? I'll see myself out.

But it was the Magpie, that ended the Samurai...

And that makes it 3 in a row for Seoul! They seem almost rejuvenated, particularly with the form of Captain Dangerfield. This is actually quite a heart breaking loss for Tokyo, as they had a reasonably good run home where 3 victories might have seen them make finals. But, not to be. They still remain a very slight chance, but crazily enough so do Seoul.
