#45
Final team now with no trades left (Lonie > Downie via Read DPP and Beams > Ablett)

Would have loved to have upgraded Hibberd, Smith to Picken and someone and Selwood to Dangerfield but never happened due to some dud trades and a butt load of injuries.  :(

Oh well it is what it is I guess.  ;)

B - Shaw, Hodge, Higgins, Yeo, Hibberd, Smith (Hamling, Pearce)

M - Ablett, Fyfe, Pendles, JPK, Selwood, Rockcliff, Heppell, Sidebottom (Steele, Lambert, Glenn)

R - Goldstein, Naitanui (Downie)

F - Gray, Martin, Goddard, Mitchell, Swan, Bonts (Goddard, Read)

Capper

3 trades left and might be using 2 this week but neither for GAZ

Great looking team JM, Ablett just gives it that look of menace and Downie provides peace of mind. If the injury gods are kind I think you'll be well set.

Don't worry as I'm stuck with the runt as well. The other thing I just noticed was the Higgins/Goddard link, could be very useful if there's round 23 carnage.

Grazz

Isnt the GF for SC round 22 this year so the General is avoided.

Yeah moved Saint Goddard from back bench to forward bench about 4-5 weeks ago when I traded out Clark/Tarrant.

Thought the link would come in handy at some point this season.

netterzzzz

Nearly there with 2 trades and 50k

using one this week hopefully on that spud hibberd and may go either a downgrade to kelly/eski or go to birch, simmo, hurley
although the downgrades lets me have 120 odd for my last... heres my team

Def: Tmac,Shaw,Yeo, Newnes,Hibberd,Smith (hamling, beasley)

Mid:Ablett,Fyfe,JPK,Beams,Pendles,Hannerbery,Rockliff,Danger (Lambert, Maynard, Dick)

Rucks : Nicnat, Maric (cox)

Fwd: Gray,Swan,Bont,Gawn,Dahl,Martin (steele,dale)

got crappy cover although do have a lot of Dpp like gwan/cox, maynard in mids  steele/lambert allowing some flexibility for cover

You could go Hibberd to Kelly & Hamling to Malceski, that would effectively cover all your lines and create some much needed depth in the backline. Smith goes to D7 and can be loopholed in the event he rediscovers a bit of form. You will be down to zero trades but these moves will improve your team by 30 points a week. Great looking team by the way.

Who are you using the trades on Capper?

I've got 3 myself and am stupidly thinking of using 2 this week!

hawkboy80

got room for me ? considering using my last 2 trades on Smith up to Heater (B) & Tarrant down to Payne (F)
final team to then be
Heater, T.Mac, Picken, Gibson, Hibberd, K Simpson (Lever Edwards)
Gaz, Fyfe, Danger, Pendles, Ward, JPK, Wines, Rocky (Steele Anderson Amon)
Nicnat, Kreuzer (Read)
Grey, Dusty, Dahlhaus, Swan, Buddy, Bont (Lambert Payne)
only real concern apart from my showery ranking is no ruck cover

Decent trade, the other option would be to bring in Downie instead of Payne and upgrade Lever to Kelly. I like this move better because it kills 2 birds with one stone and still gives you a loophole at F8 (Read). You lose 10 points but your bench coverage is far superior and Smith is banished to D7.

Hoggyz_a_legend

I joined last week...

Def: Shaw, Murphy, Laird, Newnes, Gibson, Oxley, (Smith, Goddard)

Mid: Ablett, Fyfe, Pendlebury, Kennedy, Parker, Montagna, Thompson, Wallis, (Steele, Boston, Adamson)

Ruck: Goldstein, Naitanui, (Lucey)

Fwd: Gray, Martin, Swan, Franklin, Bontempelli, Mitchell, (Lambert, Dale)

Only concerns are Wallis at M8 and no Ruck cover. If Shield didn't get injured, Wallis would've gone to Gaz instead. Oh well. Still hopeful to continue my 5 year run of 2197+ avgs. Need to avg 2402 from now on, which is very reachable.

Good looking team, a bit like mine with some worries at M8 but at least Wallis has shown he can produce some excellent scores. Defence is rock solid with Smith at D7 and the Steele/Lambert combo should serve you well. Like me you will be praying that Goldy & Nic Nat last another 6 weeks.
