I've officially joined this week, not overly happy with my team but feel happy about bringing in Gaz as my last trade of the season. For the record my team is as follows -

Shaw, Hodge, Houli, Burgoyne, Savage, Smith (Hamling, Pearce)

Ablett, Fyfe, Pendlebury, Ward, Kennedy, Selwood, Rockliff, Rich (Steele, D.McKenzie, Glenn)

Goldy, Naitanui (Read)

Gray, Martin, Swan, Goddard, Franklin, Bont (Daniel, Payne)

I'll probably have big problems with M8 & D6 but dems the breaks. Hopefully some loopholing will get me the odd big score.

And if injury strikes? Time to reclaim my weekends.  ;D

I've had a dozen injury trades this year, not much one can do about it really. Combine that with some poor choices like B.Smith & Stevie Johnson and it's season over. With two rounds before finals I'm throwing caution to the wind but I expect I'll be enjoying my August weekends somewhere away from the football.

3 trades left and have Rookies (Lever, A Pearce and Hamling) rotating through D6, and Cripps in Mids but still holding in case of injury - Beams maybe an issue this week.

You need to think about ways to get Gaz in, a premo defender down to Kelly could be one avenue. The longer you leave it the more vulnerable you become. The perma-captain is back and he is a massive weapon in the run home.

You need to think about ways to get Gaz in, a premo defender down to Kelly could be one avenue. The longer you leave it the more vulnerable you become. The perma-captain is back and he is a massive weapon in the run home.

I want Gaz badly, but the only real option I see at this point is upgrading Beams if his shoulder will sideline him. Other than that I can't really see a decent option.

Bob Murphy, Simpson, Tmac or Houli to Kelly or Eski is another option, but that isn't good is it?

Feel like I should hold trades til finals, then downgrade Steele to a rookie and upgrade Jelwood to Gaz?

Your call I guess, Steele to rookie should net about 200k in a few weeks, still might need another trade however. Watch Beams carefully this week, doesn't look right and could bleed cash if he's named.
