Is Hodge worth it or extra $$

With one more upgrade in the backline for Saad I'm looking at Hodge/Houli/Simmo

My question is it worth the extra $80k for Hodge... will he play out every game this year?? Over the other two..

Or is there potentially anyone else I should consider...

Already have - Shaw, Rance, Picken, Newnes & KK

If you've got the cash and it doesn't cost you an extra trade Hodge is definitely the one to grab.

Hodge is so much better than the other two. Wish I could afford him, but Ablett put a stop to those plans.

M: Cripps & Wallis (want Ablett & Rocky)
R: Grundy (need Goldy)

All still to upgrade??

Yes. Saad isn't playing so makes sense to upgrade now. Only other one I'd look at doing first would be Rocky as he is only going to get more expensive IMO

Shaw>Hodge but otherwise I agree - use the cash wisely at this stage of the year! There aren't really any more cows.

Who would be the better pickup, Picken or Hodge? Hodge is on fire, but more chance of resting/suspension?

I am a massive Hodge fan but I'm almost positive he will have a 1 week rest close to finals, thats gotta hurt if u r counting on him, even tho his avg stays high, in real terms his actual average would be much lower if u factor in a "0"

I tend to agree.. Could be a good get if your needing wins to make the finals.. If your sitting top 4 though, the likelihood of a week off limits the value
