Another request for team advice!

Hi all, I'd love some help as this weeks trades doing my head in!

Down to 9 trades and $193k.

Def: Shaw, Simmo, Rance, Houli, Birchall, Oxley (Lever, Mcenzie)
Mid: Fyfe, Pendles, Beams, Hanners, JPK, Wines, Cripps, Krak (Sloane, Boston, Lambert)
Ruc: Goldy, Nicnat (Mclaren)
Fwd: Gray, Dusty, Swan, Buddy, Steele, Lonie (Bennell, Tarrant)

I'm thinking the following:
- Cripps and Sloane > Hodge and Rocky (leaves $93k)

Next week I'll look to turn Oxley and Lonie to Bartel and rookie. This will involve swinging Hodge to backline, Mcenzie to mids and Krak to Fwds (complicated I know)

That will leave 5 trades with one mid upgrade left. Will prob need 2 trades which will leave 3 for finals.

Any advice appreciated!

Some quick mental maths makes me think you can't afford Oxley and Cripps to Rocky and Hodge? Must be close... if you can I would do this as Sloane won't change value, Oxley might. Otherwise I think that's not a bad trade plan... Only other option to consider is maybe TMac instead of Hodge. Hodge definitely the better pick but TMac is 100k cheaper, worth considering when you'll only have 3 trades left. I was tossing up Hodge vs TMac, Hodge the winner but I can finish my team with 5 trades left so I've got a little more breathing space...

Are you conservative or balls-to-the-wall? ;)

Cheers mate, no cant afford Cripps and Oxley to Hodge and Rocky, but I can afford Sidey instead. However I think rocky a better pick. TMAC so cheap I know but Hodge is such a gun! Part of me says I should grab TMAC and save coin bug the other part says to grab the best. Torn...

I'm a more conservative player and waaaaaaaaaaay off the hunt for overall so now main focus is my cash league. In your shoes I would grab TMac. If TMac is uninjured he's playing, but there's always the chance (however small) that Hodge will be rested, plus it gives you more salary cap room if you need to make an injury trade later on. TMac has had a couple of down games but is putting up some big scores too...

Hodge's higher ceiling makes his average look better, But Hodge has only gone 120+ in 4 out of 11 games, and has been under 90 in 3. McDonald has gone under 90 in 4/14 games and gone 120+ in 7/14... He just doesn't go much above 120 whereas Hodge gets scores like 165 and 177 :P
